Looking for a geared road bike in decent nick that I can ride fair distances in the summer. My budget is around £300 but could possibly raise funds for the right bike.

Obviously I'm based in Portsmouth, but I could definitely travel to London if postage isn't an option.

Will a frameset do? 1990/91? Basso 'Coral' 54c-t / 55c-c, columbus tubed, VGC. Campagnolo 'Athena' HS and Miche BB. I'm looking £175 but will chuck in some wheels, tyres and few other bits for a few extra £££

Classic MKS GRP-9 pedals with MKS medium toe clips and 1985 vintage German Vermatex (no longer available) straps. Very good condition, hardly used so bearings as new ONLY £25. RRP would be £35 not including straps. NOW SOLD

Personally I don't think so but it's really down to you. You could always take the front wheel off and carry it on the tube. If you're talking about Eltham in Greenwich you'll need to get the Jubilee line to London Bridge then the Northern Line to either East Finchley, Highgate or Archway and I could meet you at the tube station

I'll get back to you, depending on whether they go with the bike they might be for sale. I had planned to leave them on for the time being so at least someone can test ride it without bringing their own pedals.

That's what everyone says^^^^, one guy even came to buy it until he realized what a 650c wheel is.

I'd call the rozzers except they pissed me off so much with their indifference when my bike was nicked... I called them within 1 minute yes! 1 minute of my bike being nicked and they told me to come to the station to collect a form, I asked why they bother carrying radios.

Anyway, pity I didn't check this site earlier. My Boardman Pro Carbon with veloce groupset, Kouta carbon seat post, Deda stem, S-works bars, Truvative rouler chainset, FSA headset, Fulcrum racing 7 wheels, Vittoria rubino tyres(white), Tioga spyder saddle (white) was nicked on the 25/07/12 from Muswell Hill broadway. It's a 2006 model, grey main triangle with naked carbon stays and forks. It was owned by Jessica Allen when training for the 2006 commonwealth games, it has her name on the top tube. It's pretty destinctive due to the white and black splash tape and combination of parts.
I realize a few months have passed but if anyone's bought it then let me know.

44cm center to center, 31.8mm clamp area for oversized stems, ergo shape, grooved cable routing for ergo/STI shifters, in good condition except for a small scrape which happened when I got boxed in between a motorist and a wall, this is only superficial and does not effect their use, they are straight and I have been using them since, it can be seen in pic 2. I'm selling as I found them too wide and now use 40cm bars.

Were recently advertized and 'bought' on ebay for £12.50 but auction winner hasn't paid me yet so selling here to you good folks at £10 + £3.50 postage or collect for free from London N10 cash/transfer/paypal all fine.
