thanks for the help guys, on each sprocket it has the number of teeth followed by an "M" sadly no "c" in sight so i believe i've been duped and sold a (possibely mavic?) 8 speed cassette with a 9 speed campagnolo lockring. just double checking that every sprocket should have a "C" somewhere on it, and if not, it means its not campag.
Thanks again Scilly and Badboy -
just purchased an 8 speed exa-drive on ebay but i have some queries.
Firstly, there are no markings on any of the sprockets that suggest it is campagnolo, does this mean it isn't?Secondly, the cassette has a campagnolo lockring which says "9 speed" on it but it is an 8 speed cassette. It was listed as having the "original lockring" does this mean this was a fib?
From my (limited) experience, most campagnolo components have campagnolo marked somewhere on them, the only markings on the whole cassette however are on the dubious lockring. Thanks for helping me clear this up, photos upon request.

I'm going touring in the summer on a long tour to Germany, i have a 1983 Holdsworth Mistral which i intend to go on however i am clueless about racks. There are eyelets in the seatstays for a rear pannier rack, and i only intend to use rear panniers. So which are the best/most stable/least cumbersome rear lowrider racks out there?

Thank you so much.
I have more details about this story.
First of all, instead two guys at my workplace taking the rubbish out, was only one this evening (wednesday), it gives enough time for someone to pop into the corridor with the door left open and run away with the bike. I've found with the shoppers around that it has a dodgy guy fooling around, description is short white bold guy, 35ish. Around same time as the person takes the bins out.
Thanks, from a great help from a forumer who seen my bike around leather lane market, chancery lane trying to sell it.
I wouldn't do any conclusion so easily but it seems the same guy who was with my bike on the market.
Have been working all night, will do tomorrow check for private camera around camden passage but it has only few.
I'm confident, will check brick lane too, and will give flyers tomorrow in critical mass. Same orange messenger bag for me but different bike.
Thanks so much, please keep reading :)
I'm 50% that i saw this Soma getting ridden by a bald white man with a tan satchel down past Newington Green then up Matthias road along the 236 route. I was on foot so can't be sure. It may be worth checking brick lane market also. good luck and i hope you get your bike back.
