Just collected this Pogliaghi after winning it on Ebay, and am planning using it as my commuter.
Im pretty sure it's a later Pogliaghi from when Basso made them, Columbus matrix tubing and couple of nice pantographs.I had planned to just use as is with the 6 speed Shimano 600, but hadn't realised that the wheels were tubs. I'd rather clinchers for my daily ride so the I can easily fix a puncture. Money is a bit tight so trying to figure out the most economical way to get this ready.
As I see it, the choices before me now are:
1) rebuild the wheels with some new rims (Kinlin ADHN or Ambrosio p20 etc.)
2) try to sell the complete groupset on Ebay, cold set the frame and bring it more up to date with 9 or 10 speedWhat would the LFGSS hive mind do?
