For cooking I have a Lixada titanium stove and a 750ml pot. I've used this set up thoroughly for years and think it's great. I also have the Lixada french press which is exactly the same but with a press, extra handle and spout.
- Great size for one person. Easy one pot meals.
- A Coleman C300 fits inside with space (cut down a micro fibre flannel and fold it around and it's then snug
- Cheap. £20 for the whole set up I recall.
- It sounds like a jet engine afterburner when it's going which is just cool
- You can drink from it too as the rim cools quickly but contents stay warm.
- Great size for one person. Easy one pot meals.

Yep, ferry-train-ferry looks like the best option.

This article outlines it well and it looks like booking isn't essential.

I'm planning a short London to Paris in a few weeks (Newhaven - Dieppe). Then staying in Paris for 36 hours then getting the train back.
On the new scheme it seems like there's alot of risk on getting the train time and bike booking to line up - having to do one then the other. It also seems like I have to find a bike box too.
Is this correct? And if so is there an easier way to get my bike back to the UK?
Thanks

After ages of searching for a better 1 person tent, I settled for this Nauturehike tent. I've only used it once by so far I am really impressed.
Comes with mat
good quality
good height
good designThe only thing I would change is adding small elastic bits to pull out the front and back.

Does anyone have experience with the station 13 pyramid tent ?
And, are there any good alternatives to a walking pole, that folds? Someone here mentioned a custom person on eBay that makes them but I couldn't find that.

Hey Berliners, has anyone got some old panniers lying around or for sale? I'd be interested in anything. I'm on a tour and my set up could be improved!
