OK. Everyone who requested accommodation should now have been contacted. If anyone requested accommodation but hasn't heard then please let me know.
Unfortunately we haven't been able to find room for everyone, so if you haven't sorted anything yet then please try to find something, as it's unlikely we'll be able to offer a back-up plan.

We're going with the new NA ruleset. If anyone has any objections to this let us know. It's assumed that this set will be used at the Euros so it seems to make sense for people to get to know it.
I hope everyone will learn the hand signals.
Refs will be on court (there's no vantage point to ref from at the sides), I guess it'll be winning team refs for the Swiss rounds and then up to a point yet to be determined in the elim.
Any constructive advice gratefully received (without making this the rules thread). -
Hello.
Just a reminder that payment is due by Thursday. The team list is up to date as far as I've concerned, so anyone not bolded is due to pay. Also any TBCs need to be confirmed by then*.Payment details were sent to captains, so if you're on a team that's down as not having paid and don't have faith in your comrades to sort it out then get in touch (bristolopen2013 [at] gmail.com).

Paddy.

OK. Team list updated and we've now got two spare space again. If the multitudes who have thus far been frozen out could now register that'd be great.
Beagle's confirmed a second player.
Teams with any TBCs are going to need to confirm a third by the end of the next week (an e-mail will go out to this effect at some point vaguely soon).
Full registration is conferred on those who've got a full complement of players and who have paid.

Pre-amble:
I'll stick up the link at 7. I'd like to do it earlier and go out but if I do that something's bound to go tits up. It's a google doc. I assume it will work. I hope it will work.
Teams should have at least two players per team (i.e. only one tbc). Once registered you'll get sent an e-mail with bank details (probably tomorrow). From then you'll have one week to provide payment to confirm your place. After that it gets offered up (if we're full).
I haven't a clue if we'll actually fill up here and now. Just taking precautions in case.

Courts are at St Pauls Community Sports Academy, easily accessed via the M32 - St Pauls, Newfoundland Road, Bristol, BS2 9NH. We have two excellent large courts, smooth surface, shoulder high boards all round. The centre has toilet and shower facilities.
Directions:
By bike:By car:
There's normally a 3 hour limit on parking at the site. This will be in place Friday night, but not on the Saturday and Sunday, so you can park there all day then.
There's some on street parking in front of the sports centre for the Friday.I'm afraid that the sports centre has a no-alcohol policy, so strictly no drinking allowed on site, or in the car park.
Accommodation:
Limited accommodation with local players.
A couple of decently priced hostels (Full Moon and Rock & Bowl Motel).

Just a thought: if it's decided that it will all be done via the UK Champs, then presumably there'll need to be some system to rank the teams that came joint 5th / joint 7th?
I don't know Podium well enough to know how / if this works, but if there's likely to be a need for any extra games for ranking can you let me know?
Ta.
