Really like your build. Good looking bike (except saddle, but comfort does out weigh aesthetic), the talbot builds I've seen on here are really swaying me to give Matt a call. Just to be a boring sad twat, any idea what the finished weight is?
Looks real nice. Wasn't sure about the black/blue when you started, but it's a grower. Particularly that bar tape. Now ready for the oncoming shitty weather. Enjoy.
Currently thoughts drifting between Mercian, Talbot, Oak, Feather. Which builder to choose. Oh, then reality hits, just as I'm deciding on which wheels to have built, still need to sell that fookin narrow boat before I can get another bike. Ah well at work/home now. Ah, cup of tea and a fag.
Have been a voyeur for a while now, thought it was about time to register. i enjoy the witty banter you boys have with each other, makes the lads at work look like southern nancies, oops just realised what the l in lfgss stands for, better than snfgss i suppose.
Hi J Dennis, Have unused mavic open sports on black formula hubs built up by parker international. Paid £150 for them, never fitted to my bike. they are black with machined side walls. only just registered so don't know if pm will work, you can text me if you like on 07411 488395.
afternoon all. absolutely love this build and thread. its really given me a surly itch that i'm trying desperately not to scratch. no will power you see, so will probably own one soon. well done sir.
