Decided to sell my Langster as it's not really suitable for cycling to lectures and leaving outside Tescos and the fact that I can't take it home over the holidays makes it a bit of a liability!

I'm selling my Specialized Langster, 58cm aluminium frame with carbon forks. I originally bought this as a bike for uni but it's a bit too nice for that and I'm commuting on a cheaper bike now. Rear hub is currently running fixed but can be flipped over to run on a freehub. The bike is a 2011 model and is in excellent working condition apart from some minor cosmetic scratches as you'd expect from use. The bottle cages and computer will be included but I will fit a pair of normal flat plastic pedals and remove that pump mounting bracket on the seat tube. Tyres have been replaced with 25c Vittorias (about 70 miles use) Also, I've got a copy of the receipt (with frame number etc.) from the Specialized Concept Store.
Sold!

My Langster has developed a bit of a creak, which I think it coming from the bottom bracket or the cranks. I cleaned the chain and chainring which alleviated some of the grinding sounds but there's still a creak/click when I put pressure on the pedals. I've checked the crank arm bolts and I've also tightened the chainrings as that was the cause of similar symptoms on my other fixed gear. Any ideas what else I could try? I think it might be an issue of tweaking the chain tension?

Hey guys, could do with some advice: I've found an older Specialized Allez for sale locally. I think it's 06/07 model with the older tiagra 9 speed groupset - worth it at £200? I dont know how good the older Allez frames are but I figure if it's not that great a ride I should still be able to sell the parts and get most of my cash back?

I think the issue is that the eyelets which the bolt goes through are coming apart from the frame. It's a cheap gas pipe frame - anybody know of any cheap DIY solutions to get the seatpost secure?

I'd be up for a ride on Friday morning, although I have to be back before 10ish.
