Just thought I would share my gravel/touring/whateverthekidsarecallingitthesedays -bike...
Previous owner had the frame repainted and put Surly decals on it. However I'm 99,99% sure that's it's just some old mountainbike frame. Originally made for 26" wheels but setup now with 27,5" with 48mm gravelkings. -
Thought I would share my current project:
DIY/repurposed bag for bike packing.
https://www.srbnr.com/blog/it-probably-wasnt-made-for-thisI just ordered another bag to make one for the front as well actually! So cheap but so effective.
It will look like this but with some minor changes to the straps

This reminds me off the danish forum: Fixie-king.dk, that was shut down some time ago..
So many years of knowledge, photos, threads and fun.. Gone... (Im still sad in case you couldn't tell)..But i think that was also because the original guy who owned the domain didn't want to maintain it anymore...
Well its good to see PR up again.. If only for a while..

Not sure if this was posted the right place but here goes.
So apparently 8bar never released these https://bikerumor-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/8bar-Aero-Hoods-prototype_Tmplhof-fixed-crit-race-bike_alternate-handlebar-hand-positions.jpg
I’m looking to do something like this but I was wondering if anybody has done something like it DIY?
I could probably do something out of wood but getting a snug fit to the bars and mounting it would be a bitch. -

Here are the wheels in question, if it helps.

Not sure if this is posted the right place, so let me know if i need to post somewhere else, but here goes:
I have Charge Scissor frame, that has a rear spacing of something like 140mm...
This means that using a regular track hub is doable, but not really ideal.I was thinking about using a 29" rearwheel and throw on a bolt-on cog.
I know that usually people use a front wheel and convert it to use for rear, and that should be pretty straight forward when it comes to spacing and chainlines.. BUT what if i use the rearwheel.
I dont really have acces right now to test if it would actually fit.
(The wheels in question are from an older Kona Unit i've been told. So they are dished for singlespeed).
What do people think - is it possible?
Are they still for sale? And do you ship to denmark?
