Does anyone know more about the SPA cycles nimrod rack? Ive googled, but I'd like to see a pic of it on and I can't find one. For £16 it seems a steal. Also anyone had experience with the BLB ones http://www.bricklanebikes.co.uk/blb-take-away-tray-black?

To avoid trawling through this entire thread, what are the opinions on the SKS race blades? Do they guard much seeing as they appear not to cover the seat tube side of the wheel? They'd be for commuting on a Fuji track classic, which I roll down stairs on the back wheel (wheelie style) so I'm pretty keen for the short rear on them…

Hey @highroad
Just heard from your sister about this… Sounds like he's doing ok. Fingers crossed. -
Hello!
Heres a few things that I need to get ride of. There should be more to follow, all cheap, all in average nick.
From the top,
Pair of 26 inch mud guards, sans wire attachments. left at my work, thought someone might need them - FreePedal Pro trainer (fron wheel rest not pictured) pretty cheap thing to start with, so £15
Cinelli Valencia City bars. Cut down by the previous owner, and wrapped pretty badly. otherwise good nick. XL clamp size - £10
333T road bars (not sure which model) bought off here ages ago and not used. Good nick ,just with tape marks on. -£10
Crumpler courier bag. Pretty good nick, not dirty, just used. Bought off here, and not used. I'd say medium/small - but I'll do some more research and find out. - £10There will be a Fuji Track Classic for sale soon, and an 'interesting' old city bike. But they'll go in the right forum.
Also an old '80s amp, sort of working if theres any enthusiasts for this type of thing.
Be good to get rid of this stuff on the weekend. Its all in Wapping, and I work round Tottenham Court road. More pics available here and on request; http://imgur.com/a/IvBrr#0
PMs and Dibs please!Cheers.

Who are you quoting? I don't think I wrote that. And yes I also ride far enough out to the right to be undertaken a lot of the time. I think you have the impression I just nipped by him with half an inch to spare. Like I said, he was closer to the centre of the road than the cycle path. Anyway, just answering your questions. I was just trying to be nice and let him know I was there.

If they swing back were both on the floor, or if they swing into me while I over take the same is true. Into oncoming traffic. And considering they're in the middle of the road, there is a good chance they're pulling out and no indicating. Bruce - I mean futher out to the line than the cycle path, so yes not room to safely pass. I get the point about speed though, this would have required me to come to an almost stop, but yeah its possible. you have to judge each situation individually no matter what the law or cycle training (taken, but many years ago as a school kid) says. So I reiterate, none of you ever undertook?

Undertook a guy going up Cheapside this morning as he was in the middle of the road, and to be safe, I called out 'on your left' before I passed. When I got to the lights, he told me I should be the one looking out because I was going faster. I told why I'd done what I'd done, but it didn't cut any ice. I guess it doesn't always pay to be nice. Then I called him a jerk.

I got a 8 US, and Im normally a 8.5 UK, so totally my fault that they're a lil too big. but they're ok after wearing them around a bit. Theres many shoe shrinking methods on the webs, so I might try one of them when they're a bit older. My SPD cleats stick out a little, so walking is a bit odd still. not really much better than my specialized BGs, but I think they'll get better when they wear in. looking into Time pedals for smaller cleat size. Sorry - turned into a mini review.

I think this is the place for this. Suprisingly good, and not hipster at all.

Same thing happened to my Seiko 5 I recently bought from an eBay seller in India - It was less than a tenner though. After wearing it for a week it decided to stop...Sent it back today, it was something like £3.90 to post to India.
Pifko, how did this go? I've still not got round to doing it... I feel like I might get stung on return postage, as it was free originally, and its getting round to the end of the warrantee

Nah, they've yet to hit me.
It would have been a different story had they though. It wouldn't have made any difference. Can you imagine a lecture on road safety going down well with this kind of person. And the other option would probably result in some kind of fight. I prefer not to get riled up. Specially as I'm a skinny git with all the menace of a paper clip. It would have been take a photo of them and get a witness' number I think. -
On my commute to the pub last night, I got an egg thrown at me from a passing car. Its happened twice now. This time however I saw the car, and it got stuck at some traffic lights and I caught it. As it was a car full of 'Ladz' impressing their 'Laydeez' I didn't mention anything, just kept thinking 'well this is awkward'. Nothing has ever come of yelling at drivers.
Its interesting to note that there is a lot of complaint about bad drivers, but some aren't bad, there just willfully arseholes. -

ah shit. Sounds like the same people.
According to the ad I'm still in the guarantee, and if its only £3.90, I might send it back too.
I wouldn't mind, but its theres not a new one on the market that looks quite as nice.
Is there any reason I can't use a road/mtb rear disc hub to use a bolt on fixed cog, and then in future use the other side to fit gears? I've got a 650c frame, and wheels are considerably harder to come by than 700s.
