One day a finished bike. Great holiday.
Real nice build for sure.
Question, 30 spoke shamal? what is it.. an Atlanta? or a misc non-campag rim. Profile *looks *pretty damn close to the real thing.
And where you get those repro decals? Been looking for em for ages. And what is with the apostrophe.. inside joke? :) -
Hey lads,
I've tried to avoid looking OS but I'll give our Euro cousins a whirl.
Looking for 7400 (or 7402) cranks in any length less than 175mm. Average condition is fine, nothing too thrashed but wear and scratches are not a problem as long as the anodizing is in tact.
Will buy with or without rings.
Dust caps a bonus.
Have to be willing to take paypal and chuck it in an airmail bag for me to aussie land.
Let me know what you have. Thanks! -
Oh my god I need that. I have the matching road frame. Any more information about the providence of the photo?
Sold on eBay not too long ago, has been in porn thread I think?. Damn nice.

^^wow, thats a repainted* laser*
Holly shit it is! Even has a BB fin, damn.
Similar. Inspired no doubt. Australian built.
Brian Hayes built Euro Sport pursuit bike. The frame is one of four built for the Australian Pursuit team to compete with at the 1993 World Track Championships. The four riders managed to take the gold at the event on these bikes while setting a new 4000m mens team pursuit World Record. The Frame is a work of art with the gussets, hourglass chain stays, wishbone seat stay, and keel that extends through the BB and is a true testimate to the quality of frame builder that Brian Hayes was.
There are still a couple of them left, one in this configuration or similar.
(probably a Re in this thread or porn where it belongs)
and another with similar gussets prior to restoration job..

Good shit.
Not sure about that poorly built one above, though. in London? -
Anything with lye (Sodium hydroxide). I use gel type oven cleaner, easy to cover, less mess.
