i need an expander for a carbon fork 1+1/8 that DOESN'T have any stack.
i've tried Hope's Head Doctor but the fucker wont fit in the steerer (like this guy).
any suggestions?
Extralite Ultrastar 2?
KCNC Expander Plug? -
Cheers man. Good (and concerning) to know. Yeah I really should have thought to measure the town bike.
Thanks for the tip on the levers. I ordered the RL340 last night actually. £10 off Ribble. I'll see how they do.
Reach should be OK as she's got an incredibly flat back, great core strength and super loose lower back and hamstrings. I've ordered a ROSE Race Attack Compact drops that have 7.5 reach and 12 drop. £16 off Rose, of course.

Woop!
OK so help me with the maths...
75 (inseam) - 54 (st) - 16 (crank) = 5 (seatpost and saddle)
right?!on my bike...
95 - 62 - 17 = 16
however measuring seatpost and saddle it comes to 25 not 16?!there's the pedal, cleat, shoe stack to factor. say 3/4. that's way off 9 (25-16)!
what am i missing here... -
Graham will be up for sale soon! Too big! :(
However this isn't:
This frame has forum history. A good bit of history.
It's lovely and light. (And, have to say, @keanulooser is equally lovely. What a dude!)This is for the miss. She currently pushes along a 1950/60/70s Bridgestone girls' town bike with 22inch wheels. It weighs a ton. It's an incredible bike but not for road cycling proper.
Graham's tt is 54 c2c and st is 54 c2t. The miss is 5ft4 so there may be an issue with the st.
I could chop 1cm of it, it's quite far extended.I'd like to build with 165 cranks, but might have to go short, 155 or so, like these.
Does anyone 5ft4 ride a 54 st?
