Hi this was originally a holdsworth road frame that has been powder coated to look like stone.

Specs:

• Deep Vs built at brick lane bikes with a snow flake pattern on the front and old spacing campag hubs (quick release). Unused.
  
• Engraved handlebars from a 50's dawes bike with honey brooks tape.
  
• Brooks saddle with campag quick release
  
• Fancy brakes but not sure what they are. The calipers are mafac.
  
• Campag deraileurs, new chain, strong light crank, 10 gears.
  
• Campag shifters
  
• Titan stem
  
• Holdsworth frame, have pictures from before
  
• No pedals and unridden.
  
• I think it's 56cm but I have no tape measure

It has not been ridden yet and is a completed project once you buy pedals. I am moving on.

Could you pm me with a sensible offer as the parts were expensive! I am not sure of it's value.

blimey that is clean. wish you did live round the corner! I'll bear this in mind although someone is interested and I'll see what happens first. I like this bike, but I am not a girl and I think one bike at a time is plenty.

Also the spiders can now live in my bathroom with all the other spiders that like to live there

price drop £100 (i was too ambitious)

So the long anticipated Mixte is up for sale. It has no faulty flaws except it has not been used in about 15 years and has two flat tyres. The chain is a bit rusty too. I'm based in Elephant and Castle and free to view after work.

I really am not sure about selling this so I'd really like £200 for this. Have a butchers at the pictures!

I bought it from currys for about 600. It has some scratches on the side (in the third picture), but this (unbelievable as it sounds) happened in store and allowed me a cheeky discount. It works perfectly and I can count the amount of times I have used it on four hands (I'm a shrewd investor).

Hi there

I am getting to the stage of completing my first (proper) bike. It's a 70's holdsworth that I got powder coated in the same pattern as my favourite jacket.

I now however live in Elephant and Castle and feel it may be a bit of theft magnet. I thought quick releases were pretty at the time, but now I feel they are superfluous and showy.

The other problem I have is that it is proving to be expensive.

I am aware that it is a bit cheesy but could you guys help me with the following:

Should I cut my losses and restart (I'm not sure I would recoup my money)

Shall I p lough on.

I take criticism well.

I would be happy with £70 for this. It is collection from Elephant and Castle

So I have a tired and forlorn Pearson road bike here. Know nothing about it. If you are interested suggest a price. Tubulars.

I also have a holdsworth mixte with pearl paint if anyone is interested but it is also very tired but frame and paint is very good. Will post pictures up soon.
