Is it just me or shoud they just skip the first stages of the modern tdf?
I've been watching loads of classic tour de france and giro documentaries lately and keep finding them way more interesting than what's happening in cycling at the moment...I grew up as little kid (i'm only 21) running around in italy with a bandana on my head wishing i was pantani. Living in belgium eddy merckx was bigger than the pope... Later on i learned about legends like Coppi, Bartali and Anquetil. Anquetil's unique style and his very strict athletic regimen of steak tartare and beers probably made him one of the most epic cyclists for me.
Anyway, let's go down memory lane, who are your favorite classic cyclists and why? Like anquetil doing the double double, pantani killing it in '98, merckx riding away at 90K from the finish line time after time and killing everyone... Or what are your favorite bikes from tour history? Gimondi's bianchi is probably one of my dream bikes.

When considering the 'projects' building up in my basement I need to make some priorities as to where i'm going to spend my budget... Which is why i decided to sell this cyclocross frame (which is a bit too big for me) to focus on a road bike project.
It's a Clemenso (Belgian company from the town of Diest) professional Cyclocross frame. Clemenso consisted of high quality belgian steel cross and road bikes. It must be around 20 years old by now but is in impeccable condition. It has been professionally sandblasted and coated in white.
Size: 57cm
Fork included
Columbus tubingThis frame is certainly worth 100€ + shipping (from Belgium). Offers are welcome though. I wonder who will be interested...
P.S. I'm uploading pre-paintjob pictures in a sec. (see columbus label) (now uploaded)

Thanks for your answer! I did a little further research myself, i suspect this could be a 'pro revolution' frame made from Dedacciai Zero Uno tubing (see photo for label).
I'm definitely not a big steel connoisseur however... Zero Uno should have about 175 KSI of tensile strength but not sure what this means in terms of strength/weight.

Hi Everyone, I came across the opportunity to buy this frame (in my size) at a cheap price.
Does anyone have more information about this type of frame: maybe the time period in which it was constructed and the exact material (it's steel but not sure if columbus, reynolds,...)?
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, new member here. Half italian Half belgian (which should make for perfect cycling genes, but sadly...) living in Belgium. Name is thomas. Big cycling fan.
Currently working on a Clemenso cyclocross frame project, turning it into a single speed cyclocross bike (Clemenso was a small Belgian company from the town of Diest, mostly building columbus frames for both road and cyclocross. Roland Libothon used to ride with Clemenso, for you cyclocross fans out there). I hope to read and learn here, stare at bike porn and maybe buy/sell some interesting bikes and parts.
Cheers!
Thomas
