Uniqlo have a packable (ish) moncleur style down coat that I team with a breathable rain jacket, the idea is to get the best of both worlds if the weather changes, At only £50 can't go far wrong...
That said, does anyone own the Campagnolo rain jacket (La Flandre I believe its called)? At least it's one outer layer that doesn't scream "my other bikes a Brompton"

Quick question that I can;t find answered elsewhere, (tho I fear it's due to it being a bit of a silly idea).So...
In a potentially foolish endeavour to make my touring bike look reasonably non-touringy when it's not loaded up, is it possible to (instruct my frame builder when it gets made) to put the front and back double eyes for the mudguards and panniers on the inside of the chainstay/fork?
Am I asking for trouble/wierd look from the framebuilder?

After a colnago frame to build up for a project I have in mind
Must have pantographed 'colnago' (preferably) or the club at the top of the seat stays, and round tubing (i.e. No crimped stuff). Size as above to fit me at 6ft 3
It's likely to be repainted so not too fussed on colour (tho if you have one in ace condition in black I will be v interested)
Cheers

I signed up as a whopping newbie to all this.
Just need to sort my bike, not sure I fancy dragging my Airnimal 100 miles around Kent...
For the record, as I'm sure all the other entrants got, they;re doing a discount thingy where you can ride for the bargain(!) price of a fixie no matter what you ride. Plus if 4 of you do it (and quote my referral fee) I get a jersey, for joy....

In the words of a shit Al Pacino impressionator, whaddayagat...
Looking to save me the time going to Bob Jackson and getting one made (such is my impulsive streak), I'm building a frame up with a hub gear (prolly an Alfine), so min 130mm rear OLN.
Pref dark coloured, with nice contrasts.
if you've got the bits to complete it, even better!
Cheers

And another from me. Got one for festivals, (and I'm a right gear nerd) and pretty much rate it the perfect bag for a number of uses. The waist and chest straps, quick compression straps all make you feel as if it's something very well designed.
At £12 quid its a steal, even if you don't think you need one yet
