I'm still a bit bemused the Police don't want to get involved. Tbf I don't credit them with much efficiency, but how the suffering fuck do they not leap at a chance like this to nail the wrongun? I once sat down with the (then?) head honcho for the CTF (on the auspices of setting up a bike theft reporting website), and he gave the impression it was a few guys full time job to search gumtree for these sort of ads.
Silly idea - why don't you say your a journo writing a piece on Police bike theft inactivity, and present them with the evidence and ask for a quote to why they don't give much of a fuck?

I wonder if the forks are original because the frame has eyelets on the rear forks? Overall for me the Fuji is a nice build with some good details like the bottle cage bolts picking up on the gold in the decals .. no porn but nicely done
Just picking up on this point though (and you may disagree) but generally if I build something I'm proud of, the first thing I do is take pics before riding ..
Sure, and this is coming from someone who;s currently building and a touch genuinely envious at those who have the temperament and patience to photo every step (like I wish I would)...though that one looks too boxfresh pristine!

Great build....Apologies if I've missed something... but do you know somewhere that does lights for the rear braze on? (I have the braze on, just not a light to go on it)

Nice enough,but a bit too nice, shiny and soulless IMO, can't see it being used any time soon.
It's easy to see this place drop standards to "everything's there and matched and looking nice..." but it's hardly throbbo material.
I blame the cyclocross meh-athon a few pages back.

Windows/Excel being what it is these things usually cause more problems than they solve, sadly.
I have all my custom bits loaded in a Personal.XLS file that I've had since I was a nipper (and taken with me everywhere (professionally)).

Bought 2 of these just before xmas (only took about a week or so to turn up)...A nice donor to a vintagey project though need to sort a stopper that looks cork/woodeny and fits exactly/securely.
