Thought i'd gauge some interest on here...
I just picked up the quad core i7 Mac Mini and so i'm selling my 2007 Alu iMac (2.4Ghz c2d etc). It's been jazzed up with 4Gb of Ram and a 128Gb SSD so runs very quickly for day to day things like web browsing and light photoshop use.
Anyone interested at £350? Comes boxed but without keyboard or mouse... It's in A1 condition apart from about a 1 square inch in the very bottom left of the monitor. It has succumbed to the common dust behind the screen issue so there is some mottling which you can see when on a white screen.
Seems like quite a fair price to me, depending on how bad the mottling is. can i ask did you fit the SSD yourself? Was it difficult? Use the same model at work, don't think i'll be able to convince the boss to get me a newer one, but he might go for an SSD, would have to do the work myself though

1st is a bit close to the flyover but I've not really gone through there
the location of the 2nd one, is pretty damned piss poor, avoid (I see tallchris has let you know this)
Might I suggest trying the other side of east croydon station, sandilands, lebanon road and down towards Addiscombe, blackhorse etc
don't do towards Addington village....
Yeah avoid Addington 'village', Croydon's not as bad as people (who don't live there) make out. East croydon to victoria or LDN Bridge is less than 15 minutes too.
I'd still recommend Upper Norwood/ Crystal Palace, if you can stretch that far (might be somewhere small though).
I've never really liked Mitcham that much (no offend if anyone lives there) can quite put my finger on why though. Might be that i felt less safe there. some of houses round that Pond on Commonside look nice though.
Might as well throw Carshalton in the mix as well, near the station, not Rosehill or St. Helier.

Fella with one leg in Brixton. If you really want some 'well being' you'll stop riding like a prick.
Don't scream and swear at cars when you are in the wrong.
Don't ride through school kids crossing with a green man.
Don't ride on the pavement.Have a word with yourself.
Saw the guy too, made me think (probably very unfairly) how he lost the leg.
He very nearly almost got sandwiched between a bus and van

Any thoughts?
Croydon in general isn't great, but there are some nicer bits, south Croydon isn't too bad and Purley is nice. Upper Norwood/ Crystal Palace is much better to (at least I hope so as i've just bought a flat there myself).
Those to ones you quoted: I'd look round the areas themselves. The first one is very close to the fly-over, so i'd see if the traffic noise would bother you.
The second one you might want to be look at the area on a windy day, I cycle through that area every day and there is a sewage plant not too far away and sometimes the smell can travel

Speaking of Create, I hadn't noticed that Urban Outfitters had started selling them, i guess they know their market
Spearheading the fixed wheel phenomena, London-based CREATE engineer smart, fashion-forward bikes at prices that won’t yank your chain. Available in a variety of stand-out colours, all CREATE Bikes feature a flip-flop rear hub so you can switch back to freewheel if Fixie riding isn't your thing.
Some assembly is required (attaching of pedals, front wheel, handlebars and seat).
Police this morning on the A3 between Kennington and E&C pulling people over (I'm guessing for RLJing).
