Might have been tempted by the N6 if the price was cheaper, even if it is a bit large. The nexus 4 was like £240 when it first came out, I guess google feel they have enough of a market share that they don't need to do that anymore.
Not sure on the nexus 9 either, is it replacing the nexus 7, 10 or both? I mostly use my 7 for watching stuff so the new 4:3on the 9 would be a little wasted. Also the 7 seems to snuggly fit into most of my coat pockets

Selling my 2011 Macbook air, in good condition no dents or scratches, good battery life, only negative is it has one dead pixel.
Specs are:
- 1.6GHz i5 intel Processor
- 4GB Ram
- 128GB SSD Hard Drive
- Fresh install of OSX 10.9 Mavericks
I'm located in Crystal Palace or could take it into work (near Leicester Square)
More photos here:

These seem to go for between £450-480 on eBay so I think £415 seems fair.

Now that the Macbook air have come down in price I'm thinking about upgrading from a 2011 11inch to the new model. Don't desperately need to but the one i have now seems to get pushed with anything that uses Silverlight (BT sport Sky Go). The fans get loud and it gets pretty hot, will the new one cope much better?

^^^Set your language to US english in the voice settings and ok google should work fine (or at least it does with my galaxy nexus). Only works from within the stock launcher though, so you won't be able to use it from inside apps or another launcher.
Switching to US English worked for me, feels kind of dirty to me now though.
Only works when I'm in Google Now though, probably 'cos it is now supported by the launcher. Hopefully the guy who deved it can add that functionally.

Don't use silverlight. It somehow manages to be even worse than flash.
Can't really, their players both use silverlight. : /
Microsoft just seem to make products because they think they should, but never actually put the work in to make them usable. Then just use their clout to get a decent market share

I really can't decide whether to get a MBP or an iMac.
The cheapest Retina display 15" is 1528 which would get me the second spec 27" imac which looks lovely.Would upgrading memory and such be a nightmare on the new model laptops/imacs? £140 for an extra 8gb is steep.
Uni discount on these ^
It is really easy to get used to having the 27" screen, I think with the retina macbooks you can't upgrade the ram at all, it's 8GB or nothing. The iMac you should upgrade yourself (if it's a 27") as it is cheaper than paying apple's prices. The 21" ones aren't user upgradable though.
@ dooks, sure, i can send through photos, where i'm based etc.

My iPhone 3GS finally died a week or two ago, and I went out and got a new contract with a 5c. Great. But I've just tried to connect it to the laptop, to try and restore it from a backup of the 3GS, and it won't link up with iTunes - says it needs 11.1. Problem is that 11.1 won't run on my MacBook, which is probably 6 years old and running Mac OS X 10.5.8.
What are my options? The latest OS won't run on my machine, will it? And it's pricey anyway. So am I now having to buy a new laptop to get tunes onto my phone? That kinda sucks.
In all honesty, all of my contacts and pictures are fine because they backup into the cloud, but I need to connect to the laptop to get music and videos.
You need 10.6.8 to run the latest iTunes I think, which all MacBooks should be able to run, as long as it has a Core 2 Duo it should be able to run 10.7. as well. The only thing you'll have to make sure is you have enough RAM, 1GB for 10.6.8 or 2GB for 10.7

Looking to sell my 27" iMac, does £685 seem like a fair price?
Specs are 3.2GHz i3, 8GB Ram, 500GB HD, ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 512MB with mountain lion installed.
Was going to keep the keyboard and mouse as I'm switching to a macbook air and external monitor.
Also there is a small chip in the top right of the glass, just cosmetic.
With keyboard and mouse and no 'damage' they seem to go for about £800 on eBay
Didn't realise the RAM was non-upgradable, the processor is only 1.4ghz too, so although it's cheaper your getting a lot less for your money.
