Prices look good and they seem responsive. Just thought I would see if anyone has had any experience.

It's a bike from ebay (minus wheels).
A friend is sending to cyprus for me.
I think the best way is card bike box, lots of foam tube, loads of bubble wrap, zip ties to keep everything tight, as well as using rolled corrugated card beam supports across the box inside in various places.
THEN invest in a good soft bag for normal plane travel. -

Getting a bike on a plane is one thing. But using a courier to ship it from the UK to mainland Europe is another.
I am looking for a hard shell bike box, ideally something small to fit a 54cm carbon frame set and wheels in.I don't want to use a soft bag when they might be chucking it around everywhere.
Anyone do this often, post sold bikes abroad? any good companies? What are good hard shell bike boxes to look for?

Stigging it here with a cardboard box. They seem way more protective than a most store bought.
Any tips?
I plan to create "beams" of card rolled up and taped inside the box, to add structural supports against crushing, as well as this take the bike apart as much as possible. And of course wrap the wheels and any other potential moving parts in bubble wrap etc etc.
Anyone done this?

Hi, I am looking to get a new helmet, I have never owned a road cycling helmet before.
I know what I am after though.
I am a size 59 (L) in headwear, could say I have a big head.
I want a helmet that doesn't look like a fat pillow shaped with zip ties!I was looking at this one..
https://www.wiggle.co.uk/giro-foray-helmet/Anyone know about these?
A friend said KASK are known to be better quality and slimmer?
I'd love any info from other big heads!
Also, what is a good price I should be looking to spend on bib shorts? To have actual protection?

So after some thinking, I am going to get some bike headtube badges made up in my logo to promote my small coffee shop business. My thinking is some of my cycling customers would put them on their old steel bikes and generally people could keep them as ornaments or very nice paper weghts.
I have found a UK manufacturer here. https://studiodais.co.uk/custom-products-studio-dais/bike-head-tube-badges/
Would this be of interest to the cycling and none cycling communiy do we think?
I'd hope to sell for around £7.. For 100 pieces they cost £2.50 each roughly.
Cheers!

I said this to a friend, I could have just sent a box of cardboard down....
Seriously could have.... I actually sent a beautifully hand crafted Italian frame and fork but who knows for sure. But I did the first thing he would have done is get right on ebay on the resolution center and kick up a fuss.
I hope this isn't going to be one of them cases.

Yeah, I have got onto ebay and they said their fraud team are going to get back to me within 24 hours.
And yes I used CITYLINK and have a signature. So someone signed for it. It was his workplace where it was sent. The signature doesn't relate to his name in anyway so I assume it was a secretary or similar person. -
Hi guys.
I finally sold my mbk frame and fork, I sold it in around early October.
Beautiful frame n fork.
Around the time it sold, I had an accident on another bike, I was in hospital for a while with injusry and was unable to walk properly or get about.
This delayed the postage on the frame and fork.
I ended up sending it 18 days after the bike sold, I kept saying to the buyer that it was coming I just had to get myself better (getting a box from Halfords and cutting the thing up to fit the frame n forks was a tough one with chest bruising/sternum bruising and not properly walking).
Anyway, as it would happen, 1 day after I posted it to the buyer he was refunded by ebay, despite my emails to him telling him I am sorry for the delay but was ready to send this.
His name is Rohan Godfrey, and he is London based. I won't give to many details out on here but I would really like some help with this.
I don't want revenge, I don't want any thing bad to happen to him, I just want my money re sending or the frame n fork back, its that simple.
It sold for £325 and that is a shit load of money to not care about.
I can understand he is thinking he has a free frame n fork but this is no way to conduct business witha fellow human being. I hate to assume but this is the only assumption I have to go on as it was signed for.
Hey if it isn't him, maybe he can let me know who signed for it, the fact is he is refusing to email me back regarding anything on this.
So that raises alarm bells in my mind.
Does anyone know him? Or has anyone seen this bike rolling around London?
Thanks.

Bumping this one up!
She's been sitting there most of summer now. not good to see a beast tamed like this.
Willing to drop to £39.
This includes:
Frame and fork are MBK LOPRO / PURSUIT built to a very high standard, handmade in Italy with COLUMBUS SL tubing (some of the best steel a frame and fork can be blessed with)
700c wheel size on the back and 650c wheel size on the front.
This is a solid ride, very stiff and light!
The frame, fork and headset weigh just 2.6kg.
The CAMPAGNOLO REKORD headset is perfect and runs sweet!
There are some chips on the paint work which has been shown in pictures here. These are all the chips.
The top tube to seat tube centre to centre is 57cm, will suit a rider from 5.7 to 6ft.
The BB is an Italian thread (have a full Miche crankset with bearings for sale as well - see parts).
Seat tube is 27mm.
Great project to be building up.
Holla!
