Popped into Sigma today to check out the Black Sheep Clothing range. Nice stuff, but it's £215 for jersey & shorts! According to the website an Essentials range is coming later so maybe that'll be a bit cheaper.
Also they only had two designs in store from what I could see but maybe they'll have more online when it goes live tomorrow.

I've just built up this https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/284163
It's had a drivechain rattle from the start. At first i thought it was a creaky BB from a ham fisted install but after having it on a stand and spinning the cranks/wheels I think it could be the rear wheel hub.
It's more of a rattle than a creak, and doesn't need to be under heavy load (ie me pedalling) to make the noise. Simply spinning the cranks. However, when i remove the chain and just spin the wheel it doesn't make the sound.
The wheels are second hand. Should I just get the rear hub serviced? The only other option at this stage is re-installing the BB.

Excuse the crappy photo. I took it on the ride to work this morning when i had to stop to adjust my front brake.
- I still need to cut the brake cable. Borrowing cutters this week
- I swapped the straps for my SPDs for now. The commute is not the place to get used to new pedals as i spent 90% of my time looking at my left foot. Has anyone else had trouble using straps? Is it me or is it because i'm using them with relatively small track pedals
- 32c fit nice and snug. Would recommend.
- Black cranks staying for now ;)

So; I built this up over the weekend and rode it to work this morning.
Confession time. This is my first fixed gear bike So, I can't really comment on how it rides as i'm still getting used to riding fixed (and using straps instead of SPDs - argh).
Initial thoughts
- It fits me better than my Canyon (both are '58cm' but this is just a bigger frame and feels much roomier)
- 48 x 19 feels good for city riding
- Don't stop pedalling.
I haven't taken a decent photo yet thanks to the miserable weather on Saturday and spending all day yesterday hiking in Sussex.

It's a Dia-Compe BRS101. (http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dia-compe-brs101-dual-pivot-brake-caliper/)
It seems to fit fine but will see when i set it up.

Help needed...
I bought Alpkit's tapered dry bag because i thought this would be the cheapest way to carry some extra luggage on my road bike.
https://www.alpkit.com/products/airlok-xtra-tapered
On the website they say you can attach it under the seat using the straps provided. I realise this isn't going to be as study as a proper system like the Koala, Apidura or a holster/bag kit, but i can't get it to work at all.
Within 2 minutes of cycling the bag swings away from the seat post and bounces around on my rear wheel. It's missing the dedicated seat post velcro, instead relying on a strap under the seat and one round the seatpost.
I think i'm just going to have to splash out on a holster, but has anyone had any luck getting one of these to work on it's own?
This is what i'm worried about. I don't really want to splash £20 every couple of months on new pads.
