@jezston I've got 25s on my track champ at the moment and they fit with a decent amount of room.
Pretty you could fit 28's in fine.

I'm a dyslexic student on an art course I have an excuse :P but I will try just for you...
That link doesn't work for me but I will have a look round the rest of the site, I have before but couldn't find anything around the more south west area for casual rides.
If anyone was interested in setting something up maybe we could start a little group and organize a meet up? If there is a more appropriate area of the forum then let me know.

Is there anyone around south west / Richmond / Kingston ect. Area that fancies meeting up and going for rides sometime?
Have 2 motives, one is that I really want to get out on my bike more and would be awesome to ride with some people with a similar passion and also I'm a photography student at kingston and really want to photograph some people on rides and the type of people who are into his scene!
Cheers

Foot retention has been sorted, the pic was on the way to the bike shop when taking the pic, the other thing I have no idea what you mean, i'm guessing short arms setup?
The Dolan I am still getting used to and need to change a few things and set it up properly. Here's a later picture on the way back through richmond park with pedals and straps (tho might be hard to see)

Hi,
Just joined but been looking around the site for a few weeks.
These are my bikes at the moment, old Raleigh conversion that I use to bash about on (but currently has drops)
and my recently purchased Dolan track champion
also have another bike lying about in pieces somewhere but those are the main 2
and don't have many pics of just myself so this one of me and my gf will have to do
Living in Kingston at the moment so if anyone see's me around say hi, and if anyone wants to meet up and have a drink would love to meet some people as equally bike obsessed as me.

Currently looks like this
Had loads of issues with finding a new bottom bracket and headset (compatability like you say) and ended up just regreasing the old ones and putting it back on, seems to work ok.
Building it up as a geared bike, have a single speed atm and wanted to have another one to deal (when I am feeling lazy) a bit easier with the 1 hill I have near me ha.
Not sure about the grips and brake, just old stuff I had lying around so may change them but other than that new chain and tyres and it should be nearly ready to go.
@anna I got mine of ebay from some guy near winchester who had a massive warehouse of old bikes, best shot is ebay or a local dump or something I guess.

Have started re-building an old Puch Free Spirit that I bought for a £10.
I am a super cheap student so this is going to be a super cheap build, but have always wanted to do it/learn so I thought why not...
Started a thread here so people can help me out as I have a lot of little questions.
What the bike started out as (apologies for hipstergram pictures, proper ones to come)
Striped all the parts off
Sand blasted the frame
Primed it
And my dad's company re-store old cars, managed to get the paint guy to agree to paint the frame whenever he was painting a car. Only condition was that I couldn't pick the colour, think the blue looks pretty damn good though.
And thats where its currently at, will get some proper pictures up soon.
