I sourced a pair of Giro Privateers on here and so far they have been super comfy, easy to walk in etc. etc. HOWEVER there is an annoying problem with one of the buckles - it seems to 'over - tighten' while I'm riding to the point where I can't release it because the release tab has overlapped with the strap. Has anyone else experienced this? I have to take them off and then take the buckle off by it's screw to allow them to release.

^ These look great - might give one a go - alpkit prices are always hard to beat.
Before I splergh a load of money - can anyone forsee any issues with fitting a Tubus Vega with PDW fenders onto a Genesis Equilibrium Disc (2016 frame) ? I'm running 28s at the moment and I think I should have the clearance. For the difference in weight the Vega looks like a better long term solution than the fly with the mounts I have.

I have an old Nelson Longflap on a Bagman QR Expedition, but when loaded with anything remotely weighty it's rubbing on my rear wheel as it flexes. I've seen the various bodges to stop the Bagman bending & flexing... Any other top tips?
It's frustrating because it's nearly a perfect commute/weekend tour solution. :(

Hi @beret not looking to split just yet, but I'll let you know if it comes to that. Where are you based?

Hello.
Up for sale is my lovely Fugio - sadly I don't have space for this guy and I've invested in a dedicated road winter bike recently. The frame doesn't show it's true colour in photographs as it's actually a very dark blue/gray which is in good condition (a few small cosmetic chips and scratches from normal use) with flashes in the 853 colourway.
Current specs as follows -
Reynolds 853 steel frame 54 cm, full carbon forks
Groupset: Shimano Tiagra 10 Speed, 46/36t, 170mm (4600)
Cable pull disc brakes: Hayes CX Expert
Wheels: Mavic Askium Disc (2 months old )
Tyres: Continental Cyclo X King
Genesis finishing kitIn my experience this is a brilliant all rounder, happy on the road, commuting but becomes a lot of fun when you take it off the tarmac. It will take mudguards using the disc eyelets on the rear & will come with an alternative carbon fork that has guard eyelets.
Based in N7. Collection only. Viewings welcome - > £500

@Heitzman - Happy to post stuff! Just probably not the wheelset as it's a faff.
