I run stronglight track 2000 with the stronglight 107mm bb on my dolan pre cursa with a 49th chainring. No issues what so ever with clearance.
It certainly seems like the frames must be different. The track 2000s with the Stronglight 107mm BB was also my exact set up and there was no way things would work as you can see in post 392 of this thread.
Just out of interest what frame size is your Pre Cursa? Mine is a 52.

Ok, seems like I panicked for no reason. My Stronglight 2000 cranks fit with my Shimano UN55 107mm bottom bracket perfectly on my Dolan pre-cursa. About 3-5mm clearance between spider arm and chain stays.
This would just not be possible with mine.
Is your a new frame? If not I wonder if Dolan changed the frame and that is what is causing the issues.Tony

I'm having trouble with the pre cursa + stronglight track 2000 cranks.
After cleaning, greasing, re-fitting my cranks + chainring the spider catches the chainstay severely. Must be that I had fitted them terribly the first time. As far as I can work out my options are:
Swap my BB (stronglight JIS 107mm) to 110mm or longer. Live with shitty chainline for now (I need this bike for commuting). I don't think I can fit a spacer behind the cog because the lock ring would then not be completely on the threads. Maybe down the road I can get myself a new rear wheel/hub with a non-standard big chainline?
New cranks. Can anyone recommend me some cheapish cranks that fit on the pre cursa and give 42mm chainline?
New cranks are the easiest answer to this. You can not get a 42mm chainline or close to it with the Stronglight 2000 cranks on the Pre Cursa as the spider will hit the very wide chainstays. The chanstays flare out too much for a track bike as they are designed to accommodate tyres of 32c or above, this is a pain with some cranks.
The Stronglight 2000s are decent cranks but are roughly finished and have a very fat spider, this is in itself no problem at all on many frames like my PX carbon but they are unfortunately unsuitable on a Pre Cursa.
Go to page 8 of this thread to see the problem I had with the Stronglights and this frame with photos. I still have not got around to getting new cranks for it yet myself.

Best looking PX track frame I have seen too. The paintjob really let's the PX track down especially the newer ones with the grey on black.
The same frame used by Moda, Boma, Massai looks better than the PX but you don't pay for it with the Moda at least.
:O
But it's such a looker?! Infact the best PX track frame I've seen.
If nobody gets in touch for the thing complete - I could be interested in the cranks/chainring

I have the 7800 wired Dura-Ace which is over 4 years old and still runs perfectly with the original battery instaled in the factory. Never missed a beat although I plan to get it serviced soon, actually I have been saying that for a couple of years now.
A friend of mine was less than impressed with the wireless version after coming from a wired unit, to me at least the reliability and less iffy set up of the wired trumps the looks of the wireless and my bike is no beauty queen anyway.
They're way more expensive (I've got two wired SRM crankets and a PCV for <£700 vs. £1200+ for one wireless without headunit) and I just want to test the SRM to see if it's worth using one so I was trying to keep costs down.
Chatting to one of the guy's Scherrit put up for the Track Masters he reckons the wired ones are more accurate (no dropouts, better for sprinters looking for peaks, not me so much obv.) and understandably don't need sending off for battery replacement so often. If I can get mine to work I might DIY the battery swapping. Can't believe they make you send 'em off every couple of years. Gits.

nice! you using it on the track i suppose?
Yes that is right but mainly for training. I plan to use this one wherever I can find a flat and suitable stretch of quiet road. There is an outdoor track about two miles from where this photo was taken but is seriously bumpy - like a rocky beach, so I can use this bike on it and save the carbon one for the smoother tracks.
For training (on road) I also want to fit another fork and fit a front brake, the track fork currently fitted is not drilled.
Going by memory I think the paint of this blue seems to be better quality than the matt black paint also found on the Pre Cursa but I can't be 100% sure.

Spoke to a Dolan mechanic this morning and he said that they use the Acor 110mm with Miche Primato but had no experience with Stronglight cranks. Have a BB with a longer axle coming from CRC so I'll see if they fit any better.
Dura Ace or 75s seemed to be very overkill for a cheap common frame IMHO.
I very much agree, this is meant to be a budget build. The Stronglights seemed to fit the bill until I found out they didn't.

Looks good JB!
I'm slightly jealous that you can fit the Stronglight 2000 to yours:( - I'm still looking for a used Miche to fit mine.
