Saw that. He'd broken his leg. Poor bastard. :-(
From what I could tell he was coming south on the cycle lane and a car turning onto the Avenue from the North filter lane took him down.
I hope he had lights but I doubt it.
Stupid students are all over Lewes Road now, most without lights and most RLJ. None of them seem to have any road sense. 10 years cycling in Brighton for me, the wankers on a 'me too FG/SS' increase every year.
Hope he recovers but you need to be fucking careful out there!

Two of them. On 'trendy bikes''
On the outlet of Vogue Gyratory to Lewes Road past the bus garage.
DO NOT jump red lights here, it is one of the most dangerous junctions in Brighton for cyclists. And RLJ'ers piss off motorists big time, pissed off motorists mean I get in the neck when I commute to work.
You are on helmetcam BTW.
Cunt's.

Have these been mentioned yet? Lights built into seatpost
No hassle or fuss? I guess you need to take the seat post out every time to change the batteries?

My old Karrimor Hot Earth KS-60 HT ( now in it's 20th year ) is reaching the end of it's life. I am looking for a replacement. Must be hard wearing light and good quality slim i.e. no side pockets. Does anyone know any good website that review hiking bits and pieces / recommend any ruck sacks that they are using currently.
Any ideas ?
Sport Pursuit are doing a very reasonable Exped Cloudburst at £12 (+P&P), waterproof and a simple design. I've got several bits and pieces of Expeds kit and they are invaluable.
This is it on Amazon: Exped Cloudburst 15 Pack: Amazon.co.uk: Sports & Outdoors
[Whore Mode] If you click the link below, you get to the website selling them cheap and earn me some cash too!

Even the Guardian has been reporting that it's a bad year for apples
http://www.apple-orchards.org.uk/
but, I just botteld up six gallons of cider from last years fruit last weekend, and am off this weekend to see a local chap who has again offered us some cider apples from his trees - apparently he's got some Dabinet and Brown Snout going spare!
I had some Brown Snout last weekend.
It rocked, I had a proper, banging, night out.
Not such a good come down though. :-(
