http://www.bikeparts.co.uk seem to be offering with discount. I am dubious.

I'm totally in the market but they're £203 brand new.

One used Shimano Ultegra chainset for sale.
Despite the extensive heel rub on both cranks, reckon its done maximum of 300km. Was replaced soon after purchase for a Stages version (hence the box, to be clear this is NOT a power meter version). Has original washer / safety-device thingy on the NDS crank, and retaining bolt). Chainrings are 50/34. Crank length is 170mm.
It's a bit mucky in the photos but I'll clean it before sale. Just wanna move it on, they are a bloody awkward shape so take up space.
As title says, I'd like to think £80 is reasonable. With discount they're £200 new (granted this is a long way off new aesthetically, but there's loads of life mechanically).
Collection much preferred. I'm in Bromley. Could post but will be expensive because of aforementioned bloody awkward shape.

Numbers of magistrates are in steep decline, leading to a new recruitment drive. The more cyclists that sign up can only have a beneficial affect.

Forgive me if this has been discussed earlier in thread but the ‘six month rule’ is so unhelpful. It was put about most infamously by Nudie.
Vast majority of selvedge denim sold in Japan is rinsed/one-wash. As discussed above it removes the issues of shrinkage caused by unsanforized denim. Sanforizing removes the shrinkage but leaves a flat and often less interesting fabric.
If you want great wear then your jeans need time. Regular washing extends the longevity of denim, minimising stitching blowouts, etc.

After being immortalised in a marvellous song, I can't make it. We have an appointment to look at cats for rehoming. Bit gutted even though cats > bikes.
Observations from a mini-recce (Beddlestead but back via Shoreham) earlier this week:
- Early morning weather looks similar to when I went on Tuesday. Watch the ice. There were big patches all the way up Beddlestead and on Pilgrims Way. Toys could be sketchy too.
- Having been off a fixed-gear for a good year or more, stretch your hamstrings!
- The Railway Tavern is not a patch on the Star & Garter in Bromley. Would 200% recommend (and will be there myself tomorrow evening)

Hello. Mostly a lurker but would like to join you all.
On the route to access Pilgrims I might suggest turning left at the top of Beddlestead to go down Clarks Lane. Titsey really is a bad road. Steep, busy, poor road surface and surprising off-camber turns. But I guess a lot of people might know that area, so might be no problem.

You might struggle a little there. The pandemic put paid to them for many brewers. I know Signature ain’t put anything in mini keg for a long while. Kernel don’t. Gipsy Hill we’re selling them but are sold out right now. Maybe try some of the bigger online beer shops to see what stock you can still nab?
In other news, this is stupendous.
Can anyone recommend any off-road riding spots near Falmouth? Nothing wild required. Just some nice trails to ride, as my partner doesn’t ride regularly.
Thanks!
