So, building my first fixed gear and all i have is my lonely 2010 fuji track classic frame and forks i picked up from Rab on here(and some bits on the way. New to the whole fixed thing but trying to build myself a decent one and am pretty adamant about keeping the thing kind of ridiculously black.
Mainly what I am looking for is one of the all black Sugino 165mm Messenger Cranksets ideally with 44t but 46-48 would work as i believe i can just sort out the gear ratio with the rear cog(please correct me if i am wrong).
Also looking for some black sealed/cartridge bearing track wheeels. And i mean black, hubs spoke rims you get the idea. Okay with either fixed/free or fixed/fixed. Again the ideal would be no braking surface on the rear and cnc'ed for brake on the front(as i am new and stopping is a good thing) but cnc rear or a non cnc front i can get away with still using a brake on is okay. Mainly something decent but not ridiculously expensive. Tried to get a set of Halo's through work but ID distro is outta stock til the end of the year.
Got about £60-70ono for the crankset and like £80-100 for the wheels? Can prob spend a bit more if that is unrealistic but have already gone a bit bike porn crazy this week. If you have anything please let me know. Recommendations of better crank ideas for the money are welcome or links to external sources too.Cheers!

So my bike was stolen from out front of my hostel on seven sisters rd. last night across from finsbury park. It is a road bike with a black frame and red fork(painted). Has the word revolt in vinyl lettering on the side. Sram Apex crankset, reddish bar tape. Wellgo pedals, mach 1 wheels. 10 speed cassette stuck on one gear, old SIS derailleur. Was a work in progress and had much of my blood sweat and tears in it. It was my friend as well as my only means of transport. If anyone sees it about let me know please either on here or at 56a. Thanks all.
So, as a counterpoint, I ordered the miche cranks they have on sale at the moment. It said on the page they were out of stock til friday the 12th. Sent an email Monday the 15th to confirm they had got them in and got a response saying yes and they would ship that day. Arrived thursday the 18th. Even got a ship confirmation email before the package. No probs bob. Judging by everyone elses experience i'd still be highly wary of using them but if you have already ordered prior to reading this thread you don't necessarily need to despair yet.
