Hi all,
How has your experience with Laka?
My friend has had a bike stolen at Putney Leisure Centre.
Lodges claim, provides photos and receipt of bike, him on bike, bike only etc.
Claim denied as he cannot provide receipt of the lock it was locked up with….

Call it midlife crisis.
I bought this frame in 2013, and loved it ever since. Always kept inside clean, very seldom ridden in wet weather.The good:
Its pretty
Its very very good to ride
Aggressive geo
Its high end steel and the nostalgiaThe bad
Tire clearance (esp Campagnolo brakes)
The upper bolt of the downtube bottle cage detached itself from rust, so we crimped a 6mm rivnut. It works fine.Geo is
HT - 137mm
TT - 542mm effective
ST - 470 ctc (sloping tt)
Seat tube is a steep 74degrees if I recallFrame - £400

Hi,
Purge continues - love(d) this bike for some time but its not getting used.
2003 B-stay C40
Its in decent condition, it is 21 years old of which 5-6 in a boxed cupboard.
Left rear dropout was scratched pretty hard in a crash 3/4 years ago and ridden hard since, with zero impact/issue. Star forks, Original seatpost - all is goodFrame - £400
Chorus groupset - very good, see scratched rear derailleur in same crash above. Functionally perfect.
Chainrings are 53/39 and cranks 170mm

Wheels - 28hole Record hubs, TB14 rims. Handbuilt by Phil (now girocycles) some 5 years ago.
