Got this off eBay for £250 when everyone was getting into gravel, went on one weekend trip and realised I hate gravel.
Some decent parts. Very few marks on frame.
The DA shifter isn't compatible, I think it'll need changing. Little front brake bridge thing needs replacement. It's not state of the art or anything but light and solid if you want to give cyclocross a try without getting in too deep financially. -
Agree with pacef8 that the midlands are skippable. If you go from the Dublin direction, the Wicklow mounta are great but after that it's kind of awful (i.e. Carlow) before you get anywhere nice (Kilkenny, Tipperary...).
Someone mentioned Clonmel, I remember it being really nice.
I don't really know Cork. People rave about west Cork.
It'd be kind of a shame to go all that way and not get to Dingle and the Dingle peninsula. It doesn't need any more tourists but it is an exceptional spot. I haven't cycled there much. There's two roads in, both mind-blowing. I have heard complaints about the state of the roads on the Ring of Kerry (the last thing a place like that needs is better facilities for cars). I think the idea that it's choked with traffic is a bit of an exaggeration.
The rest, I don't really know. I stay out of Mayo (family ties).
If you can manage it, I'd avoid larger towns in the West (Tralee, Castlebar, the list goes on). -

Mistook this for the Fitzroy when I was buying. Costs £30 to return it to Estonia so I thought I'd see if anyone wants it here instead. Never used, tags on, still in the box it came in. Mission Workshop honour the lifetime guarantee on re-sales (at least they have for me).
Pick-up in Peckham or I can post for however much extra (but then you're probably not that far off the £215 Condor charge). -

I'm probably not going to get into cyclocross long term but I am doing that King Alfred way thing soon. Looking for a bike I can do it on. Appearance isn't important, just needs to be rideable and fit me. I'm 5'8" so I suppose 54 or smaller. (I might pass it onto my daughter so anything down to 50 is okay.) I have about £300. Wondered if anyone had anything taking up space.
Thanks. -

Sorry, missed this. Yes, very much still around.
