I got a weird bike from eBay a couple of weeks ago that looked like it might be a diamond in the rough, but really it;s not. It's weird cos it's got some Moser pantographing (not F Moser) but Basso decals (it's certainly not Basso). It's a steel frame (not Columbus). The back axel is very rusted and it sips a bit in dropout. So that needs replacing. There's considerable rust throughout the frame but I think it's sound and it's got some Compalnago parts (but don't get excited, they're cheap). If think you're interested, I'll post photos. I paid seventy for it (plus twenty postage). Happy to sell for sixty.

Okay, here's what my bike shop guy told me to look for.
Shimano Rear Wheel 700 with 6 Speed cassette body.

So really the wheel I've got is fine I just need the cassette body or whatever it's called that actually makes the wheel go round. But he reckons I won't find one of those without buying the whole wheel.

I get the impression that a 7 speed would be compatible. Is that right? If so then I'll buy that instead.

Hi, need a seatpost that doesn't taper, so not Aero and not fluted. Condition isn't all that important but ,yeah, needs to be 27.2. Under £40 please.

I'm lookinf got a non-aero Dura Ace 27.2

I have a 27.2 Shimano Dura Ace aero seatpost (the 6400 stuff I'm not sure about). But not in anything like the mint condition of your pictures.
