No need to call this guy out but was cycling home along High Holborn, oldish (60ish I'd guess) bloke with tweed/woolly jacket type outfit, riding along halfway out from kerb approaching the back of a parked bus about say ten metres from the back of it, I'm on his outside having already pulled out to pass the bus and am slowing cos i can see he's going to need to pull out as he is still pedalling showing no sign of stopping, he looks over his shoulder to pull out, sees me wobbles a bit, turns forward, looks again and stares at me for a second or two and whilst he's staring he is actually turning sharp left into the kerb and rides straight into it.. it was like some lauerl and hardy sketch - he was only going about 8-10 miles an hour so didn't hurt himself as far as i could tell and managed to get his feet down as he hit the kerb.. he may or may not have been on the sauce all afternoon

At Uni circa 20 years ago this lad in our flat agreed a challenge to eat this massive pot of Hermesetas or some other artifical sweetener thing - there must have been a few thousand of them in it - we offered him something like a fiver each - anyway he tips about a quarter in his mouth and necks them and just grins at us - tips another load in and still grinning and then tips the rest in his mouth - cue collective panic that he was going to succeed so we say it doesn't count if you don't chew.. you have to chew them or no cash... so he starts chewing away still half grinning until about fifteen seconds in he goes white as a sheet and his eyes go and he runs to one of the cupboards and gets a bottle of ketchup and starts violently shaking that down his throat then pukes all over

I have a two seater leather sofa and footstool I originally bought in the Conran store that I can't use in my flat anymore.
It originally cost over 2k I think but is now stuck out on the roof terrace getting rained on etc (though it is covered) and I'd rather someone who can use it had it than dump it/leave it there
I had a plan to have it covered in new leather etc but am realistically never going to get round to it so if anyone would like it and can collect from Clapham let me know..
cheers

Lad in collison with a van which was turning left into Farringdon Lane about 930 a.m. I didn't see it but was on other side of the road and heard the bang. Ambulances and police in attendance. I don't want to post much more but I know the lad's name and that he lives in King Cross and works in Borough. Aside from some pretty gruesome cuts he seemed ok but left him with the police and ambulance and put his watch and lights in his rucsack. Heal up soon mate.

I lived in Brussels for 8 months many moons ago and never discovered this... I am back there this weekend and intend making up for lost time.. thank you for pointing it out..
