Slogging up Clapham Park Road on an old shopping bike a few sizes too small for him, a tall bloke with long silver hair, clad in a cream-coloured crop-top boob tube and mini-skirt (both also a few sizes too small) with matching high-heels. Probably not on here.
I saw him/her same place, same time. I guess I might have seen you too if I wasn't so distracted by such a sight. Quite a regular around Clapham. Appeared on the Chicken Shop programme.

My chain snapped on Old Kent Road yesterday am, by Burgess Park, and the nearest open bike shop (no chain tool in kit, sadly) was Evans at London Bridge - a long way for the coasting-with-cleats shuffle of shame. I'd also never realised that OKR to Great Dover St is veeeery slightly uphill.
SO I was feeling fairly chipper despite being very late for work, and looking forward to a shorter cycle to the pub, when I realised that some dick at work has pinched my rear light from the bike (which was in the secure bike parking in the basement). I mean, is there a more petty thing than to steal a light when it's dark outside?

Fucking irritating. I once went down to get changed for my commute home one Winter's evening to find someone had taken my biblongs. But had left my base layer and winter jersey and shoes.

Can't really comment on "favourite" as I've mostly ridden 46/16. I find this fine for my commute which is mostly flat and I can also get around Richmond Park.
I started on the track at HHV a couple of years ago and was using the same ratio. Left me utterly knackered each session so at the end of last summer I changed to a bigger ratio - 48/15. This will be an interim step as I didn't want to jump too much in one go but it immediately felt much better.

Lovely chat with a friendly chap on a Condor Pista with Brooks finishing kit this morning on the commute up to London Bridge. Made the rat race far more pleasant, cheers!
That sounds like me. Were you the guy with the anonymised frame?
I also got a cheery "Mornin'" at the start of my commute from a guy in Clapham with, I believe, a forum cap and orange waffa pro jacket.

It's OK, it was a genuine misinterpretation. A corrected email has since been sent.
I supposed I shouldn't be surprised that some coppers are pretty selective as to how they choose to interpret instructions to them/the law/guidance.
Spotted a guy on London Bridge wearing black lycra shorts that had a panels across the backside in the shape of a large X. The panels were very thin and translucent. Not a pretty sight.
