Got a couple of pieces of G-Plan furniture that are just taking up room in a garage. Collection preferred in SE1 (just outside of congestion zone).
G-Plan Media Unit £300
Plenty of space for hifi equipment with special holes for the cables. A lovely neat way to set up your gear - I managed to fit two turntables, a CD player and an amp in there. The left hand open cupboard is for LPs, the right hand under the shelf for 45s. The drawer is for cassettes.
There is wear and tear associated with age, especially where the records go, but the worst of it is covered up when it's in use. There's a small water stain on the top of the shelving part.
I own one of these already and set up it looks amazing:
Please note the following:
• The lighting circuit is untested.
• The wire separators for records are missing - I made my own my unit.
• The unit splits into two parts for easier collection.
• Metal brackets to connect the two pieces included. The dimensions are 46cm deep, 131cm wide and 140cm tall.
G-Plan Drawers/Shelves/Organiser £150
Another two-parter, with drawers on the bottom and a shelf/organiser on the top. This is in worse shape than the other and priced accordingly - the hinges had been poorly repaired and wrenched out some of the wood. I've since replaced the hinge bushings and fixed/replaced some of the hardware that hinges the door.
Please note the following:
• The lighting circuit is untested.
• The unit splits into two parts for easier collection.
• Metal brackets to connect the two pieces included.
• Drawer keys included.Dims incoming (sorry).

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Evo/3D feet versions have extra room for clearing disc brake/dropout gubbins if you need.
See the 3rd pic on SJS for reference https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/carriers-racks/black-tubus-logo-evo-rear-rack/

For any kind of comfort I'd recommend a three-man tent for two people and and a two-man for one.
This is what I'd be looking at from Alpkit in your shoes https://alpkit.com/products/jaran-3?variant=41234529255529

For you pro-shedders out there, I spotted these for £15 in Lidl Peckham at the weekend...

Been diagnosing a creaking ping from my Serotta - sounded like it was coming from the headtube area, so was paranoid about the carbon fork and potential interaction of my teeth/the floor. Was about to send off the fork for a carbon scan...
Just to be on the safe side, I did a full teardown and regrease of the headset to make 100% certain it was the fork, when fuck me if it wasn't the saddle clicking and it telegraphing the click down the top tube where it sounds like a creak.

What a shitshow! We booked earlier this year and they seem to have sorted out an autoreply from Travel Services that lets you know what you can/can't book on. Why this isn't included on the Eurostar website beggars belief.
Only Brussels accepts fully assembled bikes, and only on three trains from London (09:01, 13:01 and 15:04).
I would MUCH rather take an overnight ferry to Hook of Holland/St Malo/Santander than do this in the future. Much more holiday-esque and no need to schlep all your shit off your bike.
