Depends on your use case - I connected my rear light with spade connectors because it's on my mudguard and wanted to be able to remove it easily.

If your setup is permanent then and you want it to be waterproof/welded together then the sleeves are a great shout.

They're special solder sleeves if not clear!

Yeah. I'd agree with cleanish. If you wipe it with a clean cloth it will be grey, but you can handle chain and cassette without fear of scrubbing your hands eight times after.

Again on the recommendation up the thread I diluted it 50/50 with distilled water. 120ml completely fixed what MucOff sealant couldn't.

You got an old spray bottle you can make some soapy water spray with? It was the only thing that clued me into the spoke leakage (bad tape issue) I had.

The YouTube video I watched had someone blast out the IPA with compressed air - I used a hairdryer to save time, but I sincerely doubt a 10 minute air dry and then into the slow cooker will cause any problems, the temp is low enough to avoid any issues with alcohol still between the links.
