I think the Bournemouth management have ideas way above their station. As you you say losing to city, liverpool and Arsenal is to be expected. The end of last season was pretty good for them, the radio said he has. 51%win ratio, Arteta has 54%.
They've put the club in a real short term mindset now, instant results or get out, which is a dangerous place for any club to be in.

Timewasting under scrutiny: https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2022/aug/25/time-wasting-needs-tackling-manchester-united-liverpool
Presumably the same smooth brain gang who dreamt up VAR have suggested stopping the clock. This of course would nothing to speed games up, the real problem, just encourage ever more tedious sitting down and pretending to be hurt.
The answer already exists, let the physio on the pitch during play as happens in Rugby. Injured players are seen more promptly, those feigning injury do nothing but deny their team a player. Serious injuries that need more attention can be given more attention by the referee blowing up.

I think the trajectory of Chelsea/arsenal/man u over the last three years show we were quite lucky to pick up the ex player we did.
I had a season ticket for the 19/20 season, I got to watch first hand what was going on under Emery. It took a season to sort the defence, and a couple of seasons to sort the midfield but it's only going in the right direction

I've been travelling on greater Anglia during strike days, the trains have been nearly empty and running bang on time, just fewer of them...
I don't know if Avanti is the same but the threat of strikes has kept passenger numbers very low , so there's a chance that it will be fine. Can you recce Euston station to gauge busyness before you travel?
