OMG SUPER RARE JACK WILLS BIKE!
Don't all jump at once...

I have one, and loving it so far, but have very little to compare to, as it is my first non-mountain bike. Admittedly its had a lot changed though, thanks to Buckaroo, the previous owner :)
2006 Langster F+F
Token BB
Sugino Uno track crankset
Hold Fasts
Gusset open prison bars, 3" rise, cut down to 44cm
OURY grips (my new favourite grip!)
Gusset (bmx?) Lil Git stem
Charge Plug wheelset - stickerless Alex DC19 I think.
Shimano Exage front caliper, dia compe tech-77 lever, campagnolo pads.
Alpina seatpost
Selle Italia saddleOwes me about £220, and only weighs 8.5kg... Think the wheels are heavy but very strong though? Am I correct? I am so scared of buckling them though, still!
Been fun to ride so far, and a great introduction to fixed. Am struggling with brakeless riding, as I've got weak legs due to an injury, and probably poor technique too, but the single gear ratio should help, and it stops quick when I do use the brake I just fitted.
Would like to strip the paint back to the raw aluminium though, or paint, hate the paint job!
It may only be a Langster, but it's got me into fixed cheaply, and is light. I want to build a pretty steel framed bike now too, but MAY a bit spoiled by the 3.5lb Langster frame, no?

Incredible work... Astounded!
As Jay said, I wouldn't stress test personally... Test ride instead, unless you really feel when you've finished that you'll die riding it :P - or test with calculations?
My university built a bamboo bike like the above. I've not seen it, but apparently it is incredible. Next level light and incredibly strong!
Shall be watching this with interest!

I gotta be quicker next time!
I'm in the same boat as Matt, my first fixie (Fuji Classic Track), have been out riding but would be more confident with a front brake.
Cheers!Sorry Darren, pipped you to the post! There seems to be lots of brakes popping up on here, so just keep an eye out. I'm struggling, can't wait for the brake to arrive. Due to a recurring sporting injury (knee unfortunately) a few years ago, and thus a lot of time inactive I have pretty weak legs, and I am finding a quick stop incredibly strenuous and achey on the knees (admittedly after practising hard stop after hard stop) let alone a skid stop, which I can't seem to physically even do... Guess it's either my legs/technique!

Ahhh, guessed so, and measured that earlier... about 45mm, so should be fine.
My bars are cut down, and quite narrow, with quite a rise...
Like these but narrower.
The dead flat bit on each side is only 85-90mm. Would you just mount the lever on the flat part, and use a shorter grip on the right hand side of the bar? Only thought is that with the rise, the cable may be too short? (after grips too, wouldn't happen to have any would you?)
Just got my first FG bike, and it's brakeless, and a bit daunting/difficult, so need a failsafe brake ASAP! :P
Thanks,
Matt.

Wondered the same when I saw it posted... hope not, I just bought a Fahghettaboutit.
