@arrrghsam - what width are the slice bars please?
Just measured, they're around 440mm. To confirm, they've got a 25.4mm clamp size.
I can take additional photos if you like? They're in reasonably good condition but have some scrapes around the clamp area and residue from bar tape.Pretty hopeless third dibs on the 700c wheels. I live on Rustat Road if that helps. Let me know if by some divine intervention they become available. Thanks.
Just round the corner from me then!
Will let you know if they become available. -
Thanks for getting back. Steerer too long for me though. Unless anybody knows where I can get cutting and threading done on the cheap.
Thanks anyway.No problem!
Haven't got a clue in terms of recutting/threading unfortunately, that was my issue with the forks too.
To be fair I didn't really do any research into it and they've just sat in my cupboard for a year.PM re basket and clipsnpedals
Just replied.

Fork steerer length is 195mm, about 105mm of that is threaded.
Unfortunately I've got no way of weighing it, to hold it's certainly not the heaviest I've felt, but it won't be winning any awards for being ultra lightweight!
It isn't recessed for a brake nut, taken a photo to show, it's like that on both front and back. -

Have some bits I need get rid of, and I'd rather they went locally.
Stopped riding quite a while ago and am unfortunately moving and need to downsize massively, so the bike bits are the first to go, especially as I'm now plunging all of my money into my MK2 Golf. Most of it's priced pretty cheaply I think, but if I've overpriced anything please let me know, or feel free to make me an offer.
List is as follows, not necessarily in the order shown in the photos though:
Cheap 700c wheel set (w/14t fixed cog and 18t ss) - £15
New Continental Ultrasport £10
Continental Gatorskin £free
San Marco Rolls £15
Wald 139 - £20
Restrap Diagonal Straps - £10
SKS Mudguards £8
MKS LL toe clips, cheap leather straps and 'free' crappy Foffa pedals £5
Charge Slice bars £5
Odyssey Twisted Chameleon Purple Pedals £10
Dia Compe Guideonnet Brake Levers £12
Cane Creek 200TT £5
Tange 1" Threaded chrome fork for 27" wheel £20Can of course take more photos as needed.

I'd put a ratchet socket over the flat end of the pins and clamp the vice over the crank arm/socket and give it a turn to pop it out into the socket.
I doubt I'll reuse the pins so will probably just use a hammer, the left crank arm has cracked at the pedal eye, will probably replace the whole lot.why would you use a vice ??? use a hammer and if you want to use the pins again use a allo drift

Hi Tom, PM'd you earlier today regarding the Peugeot, very interested in it so send me a reply and hopefully we can sort something out regarding postage.
EDIT:
Scratch that, worked something out with my old frame (disappointingly enough for me, really liked the look of this frame - the missus is a fan of the one in, one out rule)
Cheers anyway mate, good luck with the sale!
-
I'm after a fairly cheap frame that I can just transfer all my parts onto and ride to uni and back on.
Looking in the region of £30-£50 tops, which I know is low but I just can't really justify spending too much money at the minute.
I'm 6'3" but have ridden smaller frames without much trouble, I can't say the size would matter too much as long as it's not stupidly tiny!Let me know what you've got guys, I'm based just off Mill Road toward Coleridge Rd, could realistically meet anywhere central-ish.

Here's a new photo of mine.
I'd been using risers and my Wald 139 basket for a couple of months and fancied a change so went back to bullhorns (Thanks for the Cane Creek lever by the way, Wardy!)
Having ridden like this for about a week now, I'm much happier with the bullhorns, but need the basket back.
Of course it doesn't fit properly when mounted to the bars, been hoping to find a porteur style front rack to zip tie it to.I also went to unlock my bike this morning before work and someone had nicked my Knog lights as well as all the lights on the other bikes, bloody perfect!
-
I've only ever really worn my own size, never tried 11s but I've noticed there's a little bit of a gap in my size 12 Air Force 1s.
Won't go for any at the minute, but if the dunks are still about on pay day at the end of the week I might have them.
Incredibly tempted by the Gonzales' though, they're lovely. -
Updated list of what I've got left.
Restrap Diagonal Straps - £10
SKS Mudguards £8
Odyssey Twisted Chameleon Purple Pedals £10
Dia Compe Guideonnet Brake Levers £12
Cane Creek 200TT £5
Tange 1" Threaded chrome fork for 27" wheel £20
Forgot to mention that the SKS mudguards are essentially brand new.
Bought on the forum a while back, but were missing the bits that connect the "V-stays" to the mudguards themselves, and were sold as being new when I got them.
Have just sat gathering dust as I forgot to source the bits needed.
