Hah. I got beeped at multiple times whilst cruising up to one of the [incredibly long] red lights on Bishopsgate this morning. Pointed at the light then totally ignored him.

Double spot of a tall chap in a forum cap on a blue bike accompanied by a chap with a purple front spok - headed north through London fields towards Hackney central last night... A fair amount of RLJ involved, tut tut.

Does anyone have a current recommendation for a cheapish front light? Mainly for visibility on well-lit roads. A sturdy mounting system would be a bonus - the last one I had bounced off its bracket and smashed, so I'm down to a shitty knog frog style job...

what was even more despicable that they charged a father for his 5 year old's bike. he obviously didnt know a rim from a tyre, and the rep was quite rude as well.

The clowns in that store tried to shaft me on a continental tyre warranty a while back - took about an hour to return from the storeroom then claimed they only had to replace the innertube. He'd even brought the wrong size with him. Amazing
