yeah, appreciate you were just offering to help out, just seems a bit backwards. Still, I can't talk. Or make that date, or I'd offer to lead. Though apparently other people aren't that keen on my much loved A10 route :(
I don't know what you mean Rosie...you lead all of your afterworker rides :)
I like the A10 route Rosie but it takes AGES to get out of town that way...50+ sets of traffic lights before you hit the country. Reeeeally?
I also admit to being a bit backward. Mummy says I'm special.
Ladies if there is someone who wants to take leadership from Dan then please do say so.
I would've lead but as I've never ridden that route before there are only two options a) I will make a complete fool of myself and/or b) it will probably take us two days to get there under my leadership. And we had guys on the previous two rides so why not. At the end of the day it's us who is setting up the pace.
Let me know if nobody steps forward. The route I posted is definitely the quietest and most picturesque route that I have tried so far. Nice pubs to stop at too. Over to you ladies...

Obviously I think Dan is brilliant and everything but er... why is he leading a women's ride?
Not that I am in any position to criticise the position of men on women's rides given the state of my afterworkers but... oh, never mind.
@Rosie: I overheard a discussion where some of the ladies were expressing reticence to lead the ride so I offered to help out on the sole condition that those on the ride would like me to do so. I said that I'd provide my route whatever you decide and that is what I've done.
Its no odds to me either way. It is one of my weekly training routes so I was just offering my help should you guys want it. The offer is open but I agree that it'd be better to have a lady lead it.

^^ I can confirm that that is NOT an unbranded Track Champion. That is the same frame as the V-Sprint and the Edwardes that I used to have and 6pt currently rides.
I think it is a little misleading to claim that is a unbranded Dolan seeing as that frame and fork has never been near a Dolan designer or authorised factory.
Nice frame all the same but not much more to get the real McCoy which has a slightly better finish and is slightly stiffer.
EDIT: V-Sprint are currently selling the same F&F for £325 on their web site. If you don't like their decals they can be peeled off.

My friend pointed this out to me (we both know the seller, a bit of a celebrity). Decent deal or is he being optimistic with price? Anyway, if anybody is looking for a 52cm full build...

Hey guys, would rather not be on the list as I won't be coming.
Totally agree that Kat is capable of leading the ride so I'm going to go along with her on a recce before the 31st.
For what it is worth there has hardly been a flurry of people stepping forward to navigate this one...I was only trying to help. No offence taken, just don't really see why it matters whether a male or female does the directions.
