Moved out to the states at the end of August and could only bring one bike thou picked up a few more on the way. Current stable.
However I still do not have a road bike for long miles so I came across an ok condition landshark done a bit of research seems a pretty sweet lone wolf guy. So why not.
All being well come monday this should be in my possesion.
The parts list is a mix for 600 and some other name I am not familar with. (can be seen in first pic)
Asked the seller for the drop out width, plan will be to put something a bit more modern on it (the dt shifters are going) and fancy up the wheels. Perhaps something like Zondas or Shamals.
Asthectics, I'm thinking a white trubo, would white thickslicks result in do not pass go do not collect 200dollars go straight to anti?

I've been playing polo for around two months and over time have developed pain and weakness across the knuckles of my mallet hand. It has gradually gotten worse, with the pain still lingering a day or so after I play.
Over xmas I've had the chance to rest it. The rest along with some light movement of the knuckles has helped although the knuckle of my middle finger is still remains sore and csuses pain when I try to move it.
So been trying to think of a few solutions:
Gloves - at the min I'm just using a pair of cycling gloves, if I were to upgrade these to a pair of hockey or la crose gloves I could get a bit of extra padding added support to take the pressure of.
Tape - atm I'm just using hockey tape if I were to use say a foamier cork tape and double wrap it.
Grip - perhaps loosening my grip a little would ease the pressure across the knuckles. These were just a few of the ideas to come to mind but appreciate and feedback from people who may have encountered similar issues.

Although if you actually respect Max enough to give him your money, you'll get a 26" frame. http://www.maxpowercycles.de/technical-stuff/
shit got real!

Hi folks there is two threads on the track forum but wanted something more general with less metrics.
Just wondered has anyone supplemented their riding with squats as someone that has suffered with patellar chondromalacia I've noticed that squats and dead lifts have aided my recovery back onto the bike.
Would be interested in others sharing their stories of any noticable change they had

What's that blue bike beside it? Dual saddle and handlebars too with some funny extensions attached to the cranks.
it's a cool tandem my mate has called the buddy bike lots of fun, especially corners. the cranks are these crazy S shapes. Will try and snap a pic if there is interest.
so general concensus is not a bad deal if a little expensive? Might see if I can get him to put on a front rim brake, I'd take front over rear any day for control. Will most like swap peds for spds if I can find I can play in them.

I think people look into those bikes a little too much, they are just something cool for investors to look at rather than any actual practical thought.
Actually what am I on about, we've all needed aero bars on our down-hill bike at some point.
Imagine if they had a show like all them other build a motorbike show only it was based around custom bikes. Why does this not exist and how do I make it a reality?

Vince's Pinkarello
Couple of options to save it
black saddle, desticker the front wheel, get woodups, black cable
replace black hardware with silver, nice set of shallow sliver rims laced to some nice DA hubs, chrome folks, some white grips, white cable.
I'm assuming the folk is 1''
Ticks all the boxes but missing a few finishing touches -

New drop outs look well. Almost a psx look about that frame. Triangle tubing is defo the way to go. Would love to see more weight comparisons of these and the other alu frames on the market. TM has been pretty scathing in his review of robert's offerings who it seems has had a few slip ups along the way. However I still have not seen anything that resembled a comprehensive review or metrics.
cheers for the info pleasantly suprised by that :)
Overall a good pickup then, will still want to switch out the dt shifter. Thou goodness knows where I am going to pickup some rsx shifters if it's 7speed.
Yeah it's defo one of the more reserved LandSharks but picked it up for a nice price complete and just my size at 56cm. Could maybe pick up some lime green fade tape but could be total anti.
You guys say good going over, I assume:
Check and grease, HS(I know this already needs serviced) BB
Check wheel cones
Brake tension
Anything else to watch for?
