I have this: http://www.lfgss.com/post3227205-4087.html
I'll do it for £15 posted. What's the fit on these like? I wear a large (57-61cm) in cycle helmets but would come up a medium in these according to http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bauer-2100-White-Hockey-Helmet-with-Cage-/350535313227?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item519d88674b
Won't really have an opportunity to try one on before buying so any feedback would be helpful. Cheers

I've filed a 14mm axle without a problem, it makes it a little more awkward to get the wheel in and out and you need to be careful to file the slots in the same place on either side. I probably wouldn't bother as it seems like a load of extra faf.
Yeah but I see nothing better for the price point and to be honest I might just grind out the frame and fork

Thanks for the input guys.
I've come across http://purefixcycles.com/collections/wheelsets-1/products/pure-fix-26-fgfs-wheelset
Seem alrite for the money one problem however, 14mm axles no real mention of the details on the hub or the rear spacing. No MSW
My frame is an old steel mountain bike that I believe took an 7 or 8 speed.
So I'm left a little bit in the dark, axle issue will mean I need to grind out my drop outs or file down the axles. I'm more inclined to file the axles rather than touch the frame. Rear hub spacing is totally unknown but more than likely 120 but not sure if the axle will have the length to fit my current frame.

Just wanted some opinions on wheels,
been playing polo for a bit and my trusty 26in wheels that came with my polo beater never stay true.
Never really bothered me but having switched to front brake an untrue rim is sketchy when applying the anchors. So been looking for a new wheels set and the best I could really see available to me was these.
But at 36 spoke I am going to still need covers which isn't really too bad but wondering if they will take the same punishment as a 48 spoke set.
I want to keep on 26s as I feel nicer being a little closer to the ball and the shorter wheelbase. So is it worth going the extra to build up a 48 spoke over 36?

ok now i understand why y'all mad - few things i forgot to mention which might change your view:
after the initial euphoria subsided i passed on their offer for a new frame via email. i didn't get a new frame and i don't want a new frame, ingria knows this. i told them i'd be fine with keeping the old frame plus 50% refund because i was sick of the whole back and forth bullshit and wanted to put this issue to rest.
i put it on ebay (again, before i actually got the refund) for 100€ less than i had originally paid (minus shipping and customs) for it OR BEST OFFER, the auction price was deliberately set high enough to have some room for haggling, i was expecting a total loss of 50-150€, this is how selling stuff works.
the ebay auction ended without a sale, albeit with a shitload of spectators.
so now, im sitting on half the money i paid for a frame they now want back, they are intending to keep the other half PLUS the old frame PLUS the shipping fee they expect me to pay out of my own pocket as well. it also seems like they have already sold the old frame to someone else since they want me to send it to a private adress in finland.
in essence i paid ingria 250€ for nothing, which is pretty far from ok. hope that clears up the confusion.
so yeah: the fuck is wrong with them?
hope you told them to fuck off

I'm using the right brake lever as a lefty. Just wondering why a new wheel would have less traction on the pads than an old one
