On my more commute I noticed a clicking back and forth sound in my bottom bracket while pedaling. Not good :(
I suspect the BB has been inserted wrong by me. I plan to remove the BB tonight and check if it has the threads messed up, apart from eyeballing it and screwing in again by hand is there anyway to check they are fine or fucked?
It's alloy frame is rethreading the bb possible or is the frame toast?

Dennis, it's pretty easy to convert vans to clipless shoes, mine lasted about 6 months and then I outgrew them, sure they would have lasted at least another year.
I'd be happy to do a pair for you once I've finished my exams in about a month.
If you're wondering my vans were the chukka low.
online guide floating about on how to do it?

Changed my mind on this after realising I have no room/time for it.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190838659586Seller tells me he checked with Mercian today who said it's a king of Mercia. No mudguard/rack eyelets though, so I don't see it myself.
Possible bargain though.
well tempted my size and all, anyone know what tubing it is?

If you can actually see the bearings while looking at the hub, you're doing it wrong.
That being said, those are shit anyway and you should switch it out for a shimano coaster or just a single freewheel or, or, a
FIXED gear. Can't seeing them super clear but you can pretty much see in. This quote describes it better.
The bearings on the Sturmey Archer S2C are not only unsealed, but practically begging to be contaminated. There’s not even any kind of contact seal at all – the balls are basically peeping out of the side of the hub shell and are lightly covered by a metal ring, which I’m sure doesn’t keep out rain of any strength.
Ideally like anything that would make the hub a bit more weatherproof as the grease has moved out of the bearings. Any way to stop this? or is it just constant maintence?
To go fixed would be great but injury prevents me :(

@jewsef unwrapped bars?
Was that the black one that was locked up around lunch time in Anne street?
Yours?
Nah, was a bike I see up the tow path behind central station from time to time. Redish frame, sliver drops non wrapped.
Also I've seen two spokes about Belfast both front wheels, one black one white. Anyone on here
