Described as 'very good condition' and seller apologised for items being 'a bit dirty' in the photos.

Turns out most of the 'dirt' marks were scratches (hard to tell from the photos) plus the seatpost has a big scratch/gouge not shown in any of the pics. Stem also has blue paint splattered all over it (so far proving resistent to cleaning off with solvents).

Emailed milkyway over a week ago to point out neither item was 'very good condition' and asked for a partial refund to reflect condition. Had no response.

Price was pretty fair (if they'd been in good nick) and they're on the bike now so I won't bother with paypal dispute but thought it worthwhile to warn others.

I had the Allez Comp of the same era, with the same E5 alloy but less aggressive butting, absolutely loved that frame until I discovered cracks in the chain stays last month. So sad to see it go, it was my first road bike and has been a faithful commuter/pub bike for the last few years.

I have a headset with less than 1,000 miles on it if you need one, they're a rip-off from spesh.

I recently paid £170 for the same wheelset off the forum and felt that was a good price. Cant believe you got these for £77 on eBay... WITH tyres and skewers.

Either way, selling on here for more than double eBay price? I don't think you get the nature of this place.

they worked for me but they're made for 5mm outers, so a bit loose. let me know if you find a place selling them for 4mm outers.

would be good on a motorbike, I use headphones as earplugs to cut out wind noise but cant answer calls in armored leather gloves.

Only a few mm, was sure it'd be fine but wanted to check.

I got a Tange passage after finding a Chris King 2nut was too tall, needed something with really short stack height (30mm).

It has plastic o-rings covering the space at both cups, hardly any gap. Cheap and feels well made.

Just built up a new steed, only issue was that the front brake bolt and recessed nut were both a few mm too long.

I've used an extra washer at the front and a shorter recessed nut to get it to fit but unsure if this is a good idea... should I do a proper job and cut down the bolt or is it ok to leave it as so?

Just built this, almost all parts from the forum.

Still needs seatpost, saddle and tyres, but at least now I can ride it.

Spoken to two independent bike shops now who have told me this isn't necessary, despite me saying I just want it done as a precaution... it's like they dont want my money?!
