Why having the work twice?
Go for a full respay, do it as DIY thing...
Check spray bike cans, never used, but seen lots of amazing works using that spray.
maybe see if you can find some new decals on ebay.If you are going to "modernize" the bike, i will go for full respray instead of just some bad parts.
But.. go for it, either way that bike is quite nice. is a shame that we can find frames like that in Portugal, or, the ones we can find are made of gold (expensive as shiiiiiit).

Thanks for the input :)
I've found a friend with some Avid, don't know the model (yet), will see the price for that, and then decide the way to go.Mainly i'm missing saddle (would like a brook c17 all weather) but i don't think it will "match" the bike, handlebar - maybe ritchey baquiano as they are cheap and without that crazy flare, and headset (plus cables, cable housing, bar tape)

So, some parts are allready here, some are lost in transit, hopefully they will arrive soon,
Went for Thomson Seatpost + Thomson Stem (not arrived yet),
The tyres are Hutchinson Black Mamba CX in 38'
And also on the way is a 11 speed XT 11-40 k7, that i hope i can manage to use with the Shimano 105 long cage derailleur.
For now:
I think i have enough cleareance for some mud.
Now i'm strugling with the headset + handlebar + brakes... dont know what to use here...
Found a nice deal for some XT Vbrakes , but... i do prefer the look of the cantilever ...

This is for sure, the coolest Gazelle paint scheme i have ever seen.
This would go nice with DA 7400 (for me is the best looking DA groupset), or do something different and go for a Retro-Modern build with modern Shimano (sorry i do preffer this to Sram or Campa).
