For sale is my python atlas fixie. I have had this about 5 months. It has some minor chips in the paint. Here is a link to the same bike for sale on the net, this shows what some of the parts are:
http://www.discountbicycles.co.uk/biz/product.php/8502/4657/python_atlas
I have however changed some of the parts, the brake lever is now a goldfinger, a bit scratched there is only a front brake. I can include the rear caliper in the sale if you want. I replaced the handle bars with Raleigh North Road Trekking handlebars and finally I replaced the original saddle with a Selle San Marco Regal. otherwise known as 'the belgian sofa' that is scuffed a bit at the back
The bike is in good condition, just as i said it has a few minor chips and scratches in the paint
the tt measurement is 52 cm and the ct measurement is 50cm

Hi
I was wondering if you guys could advise me. I am building up a low pro bike (single speed) at the moment, things are going pretty well with regards to getting decent and compatible parts. Now I am looking into how I will set up the braking on this bike.
On my current bike I only bother with a front brake. Seeing as the posture of the rider on a low pro is different I am concerned that if I were to brake from the front I would be more likely to fly head over the handlebars ..... Is this a misconception or should I really be looking into putting in a rear brake as well?

hi, I used to live in bristol but now live in bournemouth. As it happens I am visiting bristol on the 30th and have a fixed gear bike for sale, I could bring it, thus eliminating the need for postage costs. looking for £180 but am open to swaps ect.
Would you like me to send you some pictures?
have had the bike about 3 months and It started life as a python atlas see here: http://www.single-speed.co.uk/2011/09/19/python-atlas/
but I have given it a more comfortable saddle and handle bars
