Thinking about it, you guys are most probably right, those wheels you've got look pretty tasty Andy, what's the spacing on the rear hub/width of rim, did however get an offer when I asked on classified for a wheel with a Velocity triple butted rim for about £50, but the silver wheels are probably best bet?
He did however have a nice crankset http://www.lfgss.com/thread80716.html, the token one, worth getting you reckon, looks decent enough.
Other 'n that, I think with Andy's wheels, the token crankset and a powder coat, the frame should be ready for the Easter alleycat and I can stick to a nice silver/black/red colour scheme so it don't look ugly as sin!
Sound like a plan?

Different model, the longer one is Series 2, but the shorter one is an Evolution, I've got the evolution and the Series 2, evolution is a fair whack stronger, better quality and comes with most importantly a key with a light! But yea, better quality and the shorter the lock, the less empty space someone can get a car jack in to get 'em apart.
But in short, better quality lock.

Looking into my first fore into building up my steel frame fixed gear, need some wheels and a crankset for it.
Looking for wheels similar to these price wise and style wise, preferably only using white/black/red colours with deep rims - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/White-Single-Speed-Fixed-Fixie-700c-Wheel-Set-Tyre-/220956683928?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item33720b6e98#ht_3800wt_962
Looking for a decent enough track crankset to put on, budget for that is about £50 therabouts.
Cheers,
Will. -
Following my previous post, looking for just the wheels now, not too fussed about building them any more, looking for a pair similar to these -
So, deep 700c rims, preferably white/black/red colours (Not looking for all colours, just only them, no silver) with some decent enough hubs, just looking for some wheels I can use on my steel frame. Looking for something similar to the price on these, also, opinions on those wheels, they sound decent enough quality or utter shite?
Also, a black track crankset if anyone's got one?
