My best guess is that they're KHS Aero Track forks. Used to be orange.
Fork crown looks like a LC19 crown just like @071 says. -
Hi,
I'm looking for some unicrown track forks, 1", threaded or threadless.
If threaded I need to have a minimum of 195mm steerer tube with atleast a couple of cm's of thread.
If threadless then I need atleast 220mm of steerer tube.Something along the lines of some Donohue or Graham Weigh forks would be ideal.
Shipping to Sweden is a must.
Thanks for looking!

Yeah, this 1x1 is something I threw together. Had some specific boxes I wanted ticked and actually never even gave Surlys a thought. When I got wind that the frame could easily handle 650b I started looking for one.
It's currently rolling on WTB i29 rims and 2.8" Nobby Nics that measure 69/68mm knob-knob/casing-casing. Axle is dead center in the dropouts and there just enough wiggle room to keep my mind off it. Slammed in the rear I bet a full 3.0" would work. Bb height was a concern but as soon as I got out riding I forgot about that. Feels planted, fast and sure. A real shredder.
An Inbred would also be cool but I already did that thing with the segmented front&rear forks on my Pompetamine.
Stem is a GT stem, 90's era. I got a few. Can't have too many stems.
Other bits I like are the great XT clutch rear der and MT62 cranks filed down for low q-factor so it doesn't feel like treading a plowed field.
Glad you liked it! -

Man, you guys really went to town posting my bikes :)
Sadly I haven't got the time to browse LFGSS that frequently anymore so stuff goes by me.To answer some questions:
Mudguards on the 'Dale are infact from Biltema. Just a pair of generic plastic guards. I always have them in stock at home just because I like to chop them up for a custom fit. They cost less than a tenner a pair so no biggie. Rear fender is extended with a piece of front fender, front fender is a shortened rear fender. Didn't want to have it flopping about at the front so added a pair of struts that attach to the front lowriders.Talking of lowriders, yes, the right one is slightly lower than the left one. The Cross-Check fork doesn't have midfork mounts so it's just p-clamped to the legs. Slipped a few times on this summers grand tour (2400km around the Gulf of Bothnia Stockholm-Turku) and just couldn't be bothered to bushmechanic them parallell.
I've posted the minicargo on here before, you can find some more pictures in my Flickr.

Just and old Swedish 90's mtb that me and my friend welded a new front end on. Definitely not a CyclePro production model :D
Rocked it with pretty skinny tyres at first (2.0" in the rear, 35x451mm in the front) but I was rolling on the rims all the time. So we moved the front canti studs lower so I could use a smaller diameter wheel and then I crammed in some bigger rubber. Rolling on 2.3" in the rear and a massive 2.4" in the front now. Good fun that bike.
Also welded a rear hitch for the odd occasion one might need one.
The 'Dale is definitely a better tourer than the BJ. Bob was flexing all over the place and wobbled instantly at speeds over 20km/h. Power transfer was seriously lacking. The 'Dale is a superb frame, I actually got it for free from a friend. The ride is incredibly smooth especially with that skinny Surly fork but still stiff so it feels confident.
The Bob has found it's place as my rain bike in this setup. Same extended fenders ;)

New commuter. Feels good to be back on a Pomp.
Should have ordered a white one, black and gold turned out to be more boring than I expected.

thanks. more pics can be found in my flickr if anyone's interested.
the ding is pretty scary, got it playing polo in 2011. luckily the frame is made from french gas pipe so it's held up fine.

It's my friends bike, I think the frame is a Panther or Jaguar or some other feline name. Leopard maybe? Made in West Germany IIRC and later modified by this gentleman:

I was actually quite surprised about the roundness of my chainring. No slack whatsoever in the rotation. I guess quality control isn't very high.
My cranks worked just fine with a 107mm UN54 bb. Have had them on a Pompino and a Cutter. I guess you could use a 110mm bb and space the cog out a bit if you're worried about chainstay clearance.

I rode the Ells with a 43mm rake Time road fork with a pretty long a-c and didn't experience any understeer.
Actually feels a bit more dull now with a tighter track fork.
