I am helping a pal clear out some of her late husbands bikes and have this one left

It’s a steel frame painted in matt black with State Bicycle finishing gear.

I have been in touch with State Bicycle and it might be one of their 4130 frames but cannot be certain. The bike is in great condition.

Cranks are 170 and looks like 46t up front and a flip flop hub at the back with a 17t (ish)

Needs a good home and is free of charge to anybody who can collect from Leicester.

Having owned a Palace 2nd generation that I moved on as it didn't quite fit, sold it and regretted it. I picked up a Palace 3c frameset to build up as I had a heart over head moment.

I have loosely assembled it and it isn't going to fit quite right. My heart says build it, my head says sell it. My bank account says sell it as you have campervan repairs to pay for.

So it is for sale!

Its brand new complete with box hanger and seat post clamp (not pictured). I bought this at the Bowman liquidation auction any just want my money back.

I set it up and put insulation tape at either end of the headtube to prevent damage.

The colour is fantastic in dark grey and bronze (pics show reflection on headtube not a mark).

We all know what happened to Bowman unfortunately and they will always be Palace detractors. If you want a great ally frame that goes like stink and corners like its on rails then this is your frame.

Hi. I have a BB70 XT bottom bracket in silver. Came on a road bike that I bought although its a MTB BB the only difference is the sleeve length.

Great condition and bearings smooth. It doesn't have the plastic sleeve though as I reused that!
