Just wondering what everyone else is getting charged for postage from Yellow Bourbon? When I’ve tried to order a couple of bags of coffee (>2kg total) the website tries to charge me £12 for postage which is nearly double the online Royal Mail price for what I understand is the service used. Both Steve and the team at the roastery said this price is an error, but not yet sorted on the website. Just trying to work out if this is an issue unique to me, or if others have faced it.

Wondered if anyone might be able to advise about whether the x21 x-pac is going to be worth the £50-ish extra (once additional pouches added) compared to the standard tiptop nylon? The tart in me wants to go for x-pac, but this will be for daily use so weight less of an issue and durability probably the most important thing. Asking here as these bags are from Indonesia so I can’t feel one in the flesh. Thanks! 🙏🏼

Recently alerted to ginger beer in place of the lemonade in shandy - it works surprisingly well, especially if you find standard shandy a bit sweet.

Have got a LISA kicking around from when we bought our house and figured it may be worth chucking a small amount in there each year to start building a retirement fund. It’s currently Skipton but would want to transfer it to someone who does an S&S option with an ETF to make the most of those compound interest gains. Vanguard would be ideal but no LISA option with them so just wondered if there were any other lower fee options out there? The Nutmeg fees were significant in comparison to Vanguard so would like to avoid defaulting for them if there are better options out there.

They’ve now got a DIY week on, and there’s a massive ratchet/bit set on for the same price. The actual ratchet isn’t as nice, but like 3x the amount of bits. No sockets though which is a bit of a bummer.

Looks like it was 11th-17th July so we are coming to the end of the cycling ‘event’. However I live next to a Lidl and didn’t see any of this over the past week so stock allocation must’ve been a bit scatty. Also fancied one of those wrench sets for sure.

I now have the Allday Santoku (which is lovely) but I have a feeling I may have the wrong board(s) to properly look after it. Is there a forum approved board that is reasonably heavy duty, dishwasher proof and won’t trash the blade? Looking at the cheaper end so hasegawas etc not an option. Cheers!

Quick q - has anyone got any leads on ways to mount lights to a Pelago-type rack that aren’t the included mount? Wanting something under the rack at the front that doesn’t foul the tyre or impede getting panniers on/off. A problem-solvers type arrangement could work, but I feel like there might be an even better option out there.
