Thankyou for the comments, just remembered why I don't use forums anymore .... people slagging off your hard work!
Single brake is NOT illegal, yes it would originally come with 27" wheels but it isn't a restored vintage bike it is a custom single speed .... therefore it is not "bodged"
This lug work is rare .... The bike is priced high due to the rare frame and decent parts that are on the bike.
Please instead of slagging things off keep your opinions to yourself!

Vintage 1980's Sprint Single Speed Road Bike
This is a lovely vintage classic road bike from the 1980's that has been converted to a single speed (NOT fixie).
The frame is 19" from the centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube .... This means that the bike is pretty small and therefore designed for a shorter rider.
The frame is over 25 years old and the paint is original .... It has marks and scratches as you would expect, however no dents and nothing structural .... see photographs
The bike has a brand new pair of 700c wheels, these have Shimano hubs and Alex rims, they are both quick release and have an RRP of £120
Both wheels have new Bontrager inner tubes and good tyres
There is a brand new Charge Bucket saddle that cost £25
The bike has a new single speed conversion kit with a new KMC chain and brand new pedals with toe clips.
The bars are wrapped in Bontrager tape , the front brake has a new flat bar lever, new cable and new brake blocks .... The brake works extremely well.
This is a stunning little bike that would be ideal for ripping up the streets of London, Brighton or any other city .... It is a real headturner and rides like a dream.
Collection from Totton, Southampton .... I am prepared to meet at the train station if that helps .... Cash on collection please
Any questions please ask

1950's Carlton Catalina Single Speed Road Bike
I bought this frame in awefull condition with a stuck seatpost but having done some research realised that it was something special .... So decided to restore it.
The frame number "E8653" indicates that the bike was built between 1955 and 1958 which makes it pre Raleigh takeover in 1960 and means it was built in their Worksop factory in England.
The frame is made from Reynolds 531 and has spearpoint lining with "Raccords Super Champion Egg Lugs" .... I have had the stuck seatpost removed and the frame professionally painted Caterham Green (British Racing basically) .... Professional paint job not powdercoat.
Frame is 22" from the centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube.
The bike has been re-built to a single speed specification and is not a fixie.
The wheels have classic Shimano 105 hubs with Mavic Open Pro rims, they are both bolted and have new inner tubes and new Specialized tyres .... Both are 700c
There is a Brooks B17 saddle sat on top of a new seatpost, the seat clamp bolt is also new.
A new headset is attached to a vintage Pivo stem with nice chrome bars.
The brake is Weinmann with new cable and brake blocks.
The chainset is Ofmega and is gorgeous, it is like a vintage replica of the Campagnolo Record .... Really suits the frame well.
The bottom bracket, chain, metal pedals and single speed kit are all new.
The bars have been wrapped in new bar tape.
This is an absolute stunning, classic bike that is a real headturner .... The lugs are a work of art and the photographs really don't do it justice.
Would look awesome ripping up the streets of London or any other city.
Due to the quality of this bike I AM NOT prepared to post and therefore UK buyers only please .... I live just outside Southampton, I can happily meat part way or meet at the train station if you are comming from London etc.
Please no silly offers, the paint job and new parts cost alot (paint job alone was close to £100 and the RRP of the seat is £70 .... to say nothing of all the other new parts!!).
Cash on collection prefered.
Any questions .... Pleased ask
