I'm trying to finish off a build which my limited knowledge is preventing. Stubbornly resisting taking to my LBS!
I've got a Lynskey Cooper CX disc frame with Surly Troll fork. Front and rear brake attachments are side-fitting. Wanting to fit grx400 calipers with 160 rotors. So do I need IS to flat mount adaptor???
Also, how easy is it to set up disc brakes yourself having never done? Assuming I just need some mineral oil and a syringe? Any tips?

Hey, I'd be very happy to offer a deal and discounts on the group bought as a whole. I can do postage.
- Cranks are 24mm hollowtech
- FM is braze
- Re the chainring, maybe others more knowledgeable than me could advise, because the chainring is specific for the cranks, so I'm not sure if other configurations are possible. I'm guessing it's 130bcd so you could theoretically put much smaller rings on there, just may have to adjust the chainring bolts.

Recently sold a stem on ebay. One of the bolts didn't have a washer so I fished one out of parts bin and included it. I pictured the stem in the listing with washer which was a bit thicker than the rest of them. Buyer sent me a message when he got the stem, complaining that the washer looks out of place, inviting some sort of part refund or return. Couldn't be bothered for either so I spent about 15 mins trying to pry a really tight split washer off another stem bolt so I could send to him. Doing this, I took a tiny chip from the front of my tooth (who uses tools, really? - doh!) I had to laugh at the end of it, thinking about a £100 dentist bill which I've narrowly missed, thank God. Lesson learned - offered a part refund to keep him sweet and hopefully maintain good feedback score. Sometimes you have to cut losses and take a hit; time and are teeth more valuable in the long run.
