[QUOTE=apollo;3383037]Hey Adam,
Any chance I could tempt you to freecycle that wheel for the charity build?
http://www.lfgss.com/thread99506.htmlHey Apollo, i've got a mavic cosmos front wheel in great nic minus a bit of the ano flaking on the front hub. I'd love to do a swap if yours is in better condition.
If you're happy with mine i'd be happy to give you a tenner towards the build and the wheel? maybe a pic exchange?Also dibs for dura ace rear mech & Shimano cassette.
Thanks!

So in the last week or two i have been reminded of the lesser working ethics of other forums, unfortunately some cheeky chappies on Retrobike bike and then a blatant D-ck Head on Bikeradar make all the good people i've met and dealt with on lfgss before seem all the better. Everyone tap themselves on the back...
So i'm after a 56cm Carbon Road bike, with a decent to long top tube. (i'm just over 6ft so a 56 or 57 is ideal)
I know that this isn't exactly the sort of bike generally up for grabs here but i can't be dealing outside lfgss any more - too many nobbers!Haven't got a crazy budget - but i'm not trying to win any races, just looking for something well looked after, probably a 105 or there about spec, wouldn't say no to an alu canyon either.
Any help much appreciated.

Avenir product.
Can meet at Hampstead Heath Overground, Belsize Park or Swiss Cottage Underground most evenings,Uploaded with ImageShack.us
So i'm building an old TT frame back to its former glory ( i say building mainly scratching my head, cursing and watching youtube.)
The down tube only has one braze so i plan to run one chain ring at the front and a fairly forgiving 11-32 at the back.
I'm finding it difficult to find out much about what crankset to use.
Do i have to get a double and take the inner ring off, or can i use a track chain set? - My research suggests this may be fraught with alignment/ compatibility problems...
Thanks
